  CHAPTER TWELVE***

I was laughing and stumbling as I walked, and Elena had the look of nervousness on her face but I didn't know why.

But I didn't stop walking though, I carried on and walked into something strong and hard. "No, come on its fin-... mph" I murmured before I bumped into someone's chest maybe.

"Oh dear," I heard the faint sound of Elena's voice as she was scared of saying something else.

I looked above so that I can see who's chest is this in which I bumped inconveniently. As i looked above and it was William I started giggling, he looked at me in confusion.

I pinched his cheeks and started laughing at that time I was totally out of my mind so I said, "William you are too handsome and every girl wants to be with you but why you selected me instead," I again pinched his cheeks ans said "Do you love me this much that you select me in all of them?" and started giggling.

He was smirking on my comments but he suddenly changed his composure and immediately looked over at Elena with a hopefully, intimidating look on his face. Elena gulped in panic and opened and closed her mouth as if ready to try explain herself but nothing comes.

I was totally out and became furious when saw tears of terror in my friend's eyes.

WILLIAM'S POV,

I was enraged at her behaviour that how can she drink when she knew that it's against the contract. So, I picked her hand and was about to leave when she suddenly drew her hand from my grip and run towards her friend.

"Hey, why are you crying? He can't do anything except taking advantage of others like for example signed a cont-..." she was telling about the contract and was almost about to tell everything that I furiously spoke," JENNIFER HOME NOW."

"No and don't you dare to order me again, you cheap thing," she shook his hand and pulled it back from my grip.

Great now every person's eyes was on her and me. I'll gonna kill you bit*h once you get home. I was trying to solve this problem when I saw her climbing on the table I got furious bacause now everyone's eyes was glued on her.

"I don't want to go with him please somebody help me. He's trying to force me on marry him and also sig-..."

"JUST SHUT UP, ONE.MORE.THING.AND. YOU.ARE.DEAD" I told her in deadly tone. Now you are going to have a really freaking punishment bit*h just you wait and watch.

"What's going on and what is she talking about, bro?" Edward asked me as he heard what she just said.

"Isn't she the same girl who slapped him in the bar that day?" someone said.

"Yeah... Exactly that's what I'm thinking," someone else said.

At that time my anger was going out of my control I was raging in anger how dare she to humiliate me again like this, don't she know her place or did she just forget that also.

"I'll explain you later Edward but for now let me solve this fu**ing thing" I told Edward.

"Umm... It was just a misunderstanding then and now as well its nothing like what you are all thinking," I told everyone with fake smile on my face, with every passing minute I was trying every possible way to control my rising anger.

"Jennifer come down, NOW," I said harshly.

"No, no no first say it nicely then I'll come down," she said with pouted face.

I sighed before saying, "Darling please come down please" I said as softly as I can.

"Ooo... Here I come hubby," she said happily then came down.

I was glaring at her angrily but when she uttered the word hubby I got shocked, why was she calling me hubby but then smirk replaced that shocked expression.

"You can't take Jen like that, she's my friend let Mr take her home," Edward said while putting his hand on mine to stop me for going any far.

"Bro seems like you don't like to watch news, isn't it?" I said with slightest amusement in my voice.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Instead of questioning me why don't you go and watch news on your own in fact with let me show you" I said it's not like I was enjoying this to insult him like that but the truth is truth and I also can't do anything about this.

I opened news on my phone and showed him, "Today's latest news the big business man around the globe WILLIAM VERNANDA confirmed in press conference about his latest scandal about the one who slapped him was actually his girlfriend and told us that it was just a misunderstanding that's why she slapped him but now they are together he also confirmed that soon they are going to marry and start their married life together."

"Jen what is this, don't you think so you need to explain me all this?" Edward asked Jennifer sadly.

She was giggling before listening the news but after watching it she became pale maybe drink also had no effect on her emotions so she managed to say "I'm... I'm sorry and I... I think that I need to go home."

"Let's go William," she tried her best to not lose her balance but because of drink and all news drama she was now trembling so I carried her in my arms and went out of the hotel and go straight to my house instead of hers.

After reaching home I tried to carry her again but she snapped on my hand and ran towards the entrance door. I went after her she was angry due to news thing.

"Jennifer come here and listen to m-" I tried to say but she interrupted me.

"No, no no William Vernanda you listen to me" she said while coming closer and putting her finger on my chest, "You listen to me" she was sobbing, "How, how can you do this to me? First you made my life a living hell and now, now made my life joke in front of everyone in front of my beloved friends why, why William why," she was screaming and sobbing.

"Hey, hey shh... it's okay, it's okay come here," I hugged her to comfort her "Just shh... Stop crying, everything will be gonna alright I'm here with you are not alone shh..." and suddenly she stopped crying and became calm like a small child. It was hard for me to be angry at her when she was in this state.

I looked down at her, she passed out on my chest it felt like she was sleeping on my chest safe and sound. I carried her and made my way towards my room.
