Birthday Party

                      CHAPTER NINE***

WILLIAM POV,

When she left I was very satisfied with my victory. At first it was not as easy as I thought it would be but in the end she accepted her defeat, now she'll never try to mess up with my business in future and will never forget her place, Tch Tch Tch little kitty.

I called Roman and told him to arrange a press conference but as fast as he could because I just wanted to close all the scandals about me and wanted to see my enemy's defeat, huh they wanted to play with fire. Okay then now I'll show them the real fire which they all arose in me.

JENNIFER POV,

"JENNIFER!!" I heard Vic's voice, she was beating my door like a crazy person. I groan down to myself and roll out of my tiny bed, yet comfortable not like someone's king sized.

"JENNIFER," she called again.

"Coming," I yelled. As I opened the door she jumped on me and started hugging while she said, "Oh My God! Jen you scared me to death, just where the hell did you go? At least you can informed me if you have an urgent reunion with your childhood friend. Thanks to that man who told me about all this otherwise I was thinking to go and report in police station."

"Wait... What? I went where? and who told you all this?"

"Amm... Is there any problem Jen or you were not with your friend and yeah you know what, the person who told me about all this was the same who dragged you out of restaurant that day, he also said that they wanted to gave you a surprise that's why didn't tell you before hand."

So you are good at lying too William, you are not only capable of making peoples life hell but also playing with others feelings. Poor Vic, she don't even know just what happened to her yesterday, instead she is still worried for me.

" No, no... Exactly that's what happened and I wanted to tell you but didn't catch a time, in fact due to having so much fun there I also forgot that I still have to come back home.

"You are so mean Jen, you even forgot your bestie. Ohh... I forgot I found this invitation card in living room, how did you get Edward's birthday invitation card? I heard he's from really rich family and not allowed to meet common people like us then how did you get it?"

"Huh, ah... Umm ohh yes actually last night we see each other when I was returning from my trip so he dropped me off and gave this card."

"But he lives opposite way to our house, then how did you two meet?"

Ahhh great Vic can you just please shut your mouth? I really wanted to say that but instead I said, "Ohh yes I know, that's why me meet at airport."

"Wow really, what a coincidence right!"

"Yes, what a coincidence? Well, let's go and have a breakfast cuz later I also have to go to my part time job."

After breakfast I went for my job and just like that 3 days passed in peace and calm but today is Edward's birthday and it's already passed 5:00 pm.

So, I went into bathroom to take a bath and once I had gotten out of the shower, I dried myself off and then lightly blow dried my hair, before straighting it, I also left some loose curls so that it wouldn't look so frizzy later on.

After this I searched for a decent outfit to put on and decided to wear one of the dresses which I brought recently. It was quite formal, but not overly dressy. The dress was halter neck and was a light pastel pink colour, it wasn't too short either.

I picked out a pair of white toed pointed heels, they weren't so high so they would be okay. I realised I only had half an hour to finish getting ready so I rushed to the bathroom and put on some makeup.

I decided to add a little more, and put on some foundation along with concealer and powder. I then put on some mascara, brushed through my eyebrows and then finished off with a matte red lipstick.

Noticing I only had ten minutes left, I quickly added a pair of earrings that were plain and then slipped on the white heels. I almost slipped as I grabbed my small white purse and quickly composed myself.

Before leaving the room I squirted myself with my usually jasmine, sweet perfume and walked over to the long mirror by the closet.

I couldn't help the small smile apear on my lips, for once I looked healthy and no longer tired or drained.

Hurriedly I walked to the door opened it before closing it behind me and headed towards the living room. Vic was in her room so without disturb her I headed towards my destination.

After reaching there I got out of the car and started walking towards a grand hotel. I saw Edward at the entrance watching at his watch maybe he's waiting for someone.

"You are lat-" Edward began, but his eyes widened as he actually made eye contact with me.

He stared at me for a moment as I reached the last few steps of the staircase. I looked back at him to see what he looked like. He in black suit, and his hair was done properly and I could smell his heavenly scent from where I was stood. As usual, the man was as attractive as ever.

He stared at me for a moment too long though and seemed to look me up and down a lot. As he did so I felt my face redden.

Am I wearing the wrong thing? Oh God! I'm or I'm not? Don't tell me I'm the only one who's wearing a dress like this, I mean too plain and simple.

"You look great Jen, no not only great you're looking awesome."

"Thank you and yeah, sorry for being late." I told him as I slowly walked towards him.

" Hmm, it's fine but we must go inside now," he hummed as he round his arm in me and started walking inside. First, I got shocked at his sudden action but slowly my body relaxed at its original position.
