Lily was led to her room by butler Jo. Lily explored the room, it was very large with luxury furniture that she could never afford. There was a walk-in closet full of clothes. Lily ripped all of the clothes from the hangars and threw them on the floor. She swiped across the table with her hands, letting everything fall to the ground. She got cut by glass.She screamed in frustration.

The next day came.

Lily was having makeup put on when she felt stressed and brushed the makeup artist's hands away. She had had enough.

The wedding would be with just her, Mac, the priest some friends of Max's and his parents.

Lily walked in and the music suddenly started, surprised by her entrance. Lily walked, not matching to the beat, she wanted everything to end quickly. Lily walked gracefully and elegantly.

Lily zoned out while the priest was talking and when the moment came she looked at Max, he was certainly handsome.

"Lily, do you take Max as your husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do apart?"

Lily let some time pass and quietly replied "Yes"

"Max, do you take Lily as your wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do apart?"

"Yes"

"You may now kiss"

Lily and Max shared a quick kiss, mainly because Lily pulled away.

They had some lunch which seemed expensive and didn't suit Lily's taste buds. Max socialized with everyone whilst Lily stayed by herself. A man approached her and Lily tried to walk away.

"Wait there" a handsome voice said

Lily looked back to find a very good looking man.

"My name is Tom, one of Max's friends, your Lily right? You look beautiful"

Lily blushed and said "Thank you"

Lily felt guilty as she thought of James back in New Zealand.

"Is there anything I can help you with?" Lily snapped

"Shouldn't you compliment me back?" Tom said, smirking.

After an awkward silence and Lily on the verge of walking away Tom stated

"I'm just joking, I hope we can be good friends, you seem like a fun person."

"I.."

Tom smiled.

"I have a question though, what does Max do? I don't know anything about him..."

"Let's see, he is a billionaire and owns many companies. He started from scratch, by himself. He invented a game called A.K99, a very popular shooting game. He is also an architect who has designed many beautiful and expensive houses. He owns many different types of companies including financial companies, manufacturing companies, the list goes on I guess. He also owns a private school, Lorenza private school."

Lily was surprised that she was wedded to a very smart and wealthy person. Why would this happen though?
