ch. 4 The Druncard

Seeing his miserable state, in  a moment of weakness, Selene took pity on him. With her small stature, though highly skilled in martial arts, she didn't have the physical strength, to bring him back to the inn.

 Selene: "Alex! Come here for a second."

 Alex: "What for?"

 Selene: "Just come!"

 Alex: "Why?... O! Who is that?"

 Selene: "I have no idea. Just, help me get him inside."

 As the two helped the old man into  the main hall, the sound of broken pottery, came from the kitchen:

 Selene: "Mother Dali? What's wrong?"

 This was the first time, that Selene had seen one of her mothers, frozen in surprise.

 Dali: "General!"

 General: "HIC!... Who are you?... Wait... I know you... HIC!... You've gotten fat Diana..."

 Selene: "Diana? Mother! Do you know this drunkard? Why did he called you Diana?"

 Diana: "This DRUNKARD, is my superior. Show some respect!"

 Selenee: "Yes mother. Sorry! But... Why...?"

 Diana: "Ah, my child. You are not the only one, who is in hiding."

 Selene: "Hiding? I'm not hiding..."

 Diana: "Yes, ye. Anyway... Sir! What happened?"

General: "HIC! ... Diana-a-a! Yin threw me out! HIC!"

 Diana: "When, sir?"

 General: "HIC!... When?... I don't know. That boy in the East, was dreaming about merging the seven kingdoms into an Empire..."

 Diana: "Sir, that was almost 250 years ago!"

 General: "Oh?... Well... I don't remember much of it anyway! ... HIC!... Time moves so slo-o-ow. What have you been up to these days, Diana? How's Artemis? How are the girls? How's my grandson? That poo boy?"

 Diana: "They are all fine sir. Time for you to get some rest. All will be fine in the morning."

 General: "HIC!... OK!..."

 Diana: "Haa! Selena, find your brothers, and gather them home immediately! Alex, help me get the general upstairs."

 Selene: "Mother, what is happening? who IS he?"

 Diana: "Selena, don't ask questions. GO!"

 About half an hour later, on the dark streets, of the lower part of Petra, where the drunkards and mistresses of the night gathered, Selena, or Luna, as the locals knew her as, was looking for her big brother. Near the gambling corner, where Cesar made most of their money, was busy swindling his new victims, when, as she was about to call out to him, a sweet aroma came to her face. The sight of her brother became blurry, as she felt her body quickly becoming heavy, while loosing consciousness.

 At first, the forced sleep made her uneasy, as her mind was struggling against the chemical on her mouth. But slowly, it's strength weakened, and she could now hear, her kidnappers conversation:

 Man1: "She's so pretty! I want a taste. He! He! He!"

 Man2: "Do so, and you'll loose your manhood, before loosing your life!"

 Man3: "But booss. You know how she beats us, just for the fun of it."

 Man4: "Yeah boss. When else are we going to have such an opportunity with her."

 Man5: "Boss, you know how she is when awake. But now, she's not waking up, anytime soon. Not with the drug she gave us."

 Man1,3,4: "Yeah boss. Come on!"

 Man2: "Our client said she must be untouched!"

 Man5: "We can just say, that she had a secret lover, and that's why, she hasn't married yet!"

 Man2: "Hmm! Sounds plausable. O, all right then. Let's have some fun with her tonight."

 M1,3,4&5: "YEAH!"

 M2: "But ONLY for tonight. Got it?"

 M1,3,4&5: "Yes boss!"

 M1: "But where?"

 M2: "That cave looks empty."

Selene could now feel the unsteady movements of the wagon, rolling on the rocky road. It stopped. Several sets of hands, picked her up. As they were carrying her, she could hear their snickering, increasing with the anticipation of what was to come. At that moment, her only thought, was of earlier of that same evening, when the drunkards in the inn, kept making fun of her, for being over 20 years of age, and still unmarried. Yet now, she was about to loose her chastity to those ruffians, no less. Why was she still unmarried? Why did she reject those offers? Who was she looking for, in her heart?

 She barely managed to lift up her eye lids. All, her eyes could see, was the ceiling of the cave, lit by the torches's fire. The men's voices, echoing throughout. She tried to regain control of her body, before, very clumsily, rolling to the side, and shouting threats. Unfortunately, all that she actually managed to do, was wiggle around in their hands, her voice, barely coming out.

 M1: "O-ho! Looks like someone's finally awake!"

 M2: "This is bad! If she manages to completely awaken, we're dead! Quick! Bring the sleeping drug over! If we can't have her the easy way, we'll do it, the hard way!"

A minute later, Selena was already placed on an alter, inside one of the cave's carved rooms, with a fire, already burning, warming up the whole place, when one of the man came rushing in. Hearing his footsteps, the others, were already drooling with anticipation, while she felt fear, the likes of which, she has never felt before.
