ON THE OTHER SIDE.. The Night of The Wedding!

Tae’s POV:

I and my now husband Jeon Jungkook walked inside our new home.. It is really beautiful and exactly the way I want.. The sound of the shores can be heard like a peaceful music inside the house but there is utter silence between us.. suddenly.. My husband says something..

Jeon Jungkook

Ahm.. I am going out. (Hesitantly) You settle in.. The first room on the top floor is our room.. I will be back soon.. don’t wait for me..

Sure! (Expressionless)

I stood still and watched jk search his pockets for his car keys.. I was confused, because he was searching when he actually held the car keys in his hand all along.. he soon realised that and chuckled awkwardly but ensured not to make an eye contact with me.. and then he started to walk towards the door hurriedly, more like escaping from a mess..The moment he walks out.. the silence again takes over me.. i was alone on my wedding night.. touché luck.. I guess.. anyways.. I start to walk slowly towards my room.. once I reached in my room which is beautiful and spacious, I go towards the balcony.. I stood on the balcony and watched the wild ocean’s roar (inhales in the fresh air)

Suddenly,

Tae burst into tears as he takes a deep breath and immerses himself towards the sound of the shore.. He cries as hard he can.. there is no one to listen and he doesn’t need to act any more.. His lips are getting dry from crying loudly.. his eyes are puffy and his hair is messy.. his shoulders kept shaking.. it was heavy.. he was married.. one thing that he never dreamed for himself was as his own reality.. the meaning of marriage was messed up in Tae’s mindset.. after crying loudly with all his strength, soon tiredness takes over him..

He looks straight to the darkened sea where there is no boundaries or a borderline between the ocean and the sky from afar.. Tears once again rolls down his eyes.. hot and wetting his puffy cheeks.. Tae feels so lonely right now and to top it all even his husband wants to run away from him exactly on the day which is said to be very special for a man or woman.. Even though jk’s reaction is not surprising to tae but the younger deep down hoped for a difference.. Tae questions is this the happiness his brother talked about earlier today..

This felt ironic and funny at the same time.. Tae couldn’t help but cry while laughing on himself.. there are many emotions that Tae feels right now.. but one that stands out is that Tae finds himself very unlucky when it comes to love, to affection, to touch or just for an embrace..

*Is it my fault that I am like this...*

With utmost fragility, Tae takes support from the wall and starts to slide down.. the moment he hits the hard floor, Tae hides his face between his knees.. and continues to sobs

Why? Why? Can’t someone save me for how long I have to run.. for how long i will wait for someone to just see me and tell me that I am not alone.. for how long i will remain this cold.. I have forgotten warmth and is it my fault.. maybe it is my fault.. Tae thinks and agrees..

But I have come this far from the nightmare I was before.. I can’t be weak and I can’t let myself slip... love is not meant for me.. what a coward I am and only i know that.. I can’t allow it, I can’t go back to being that scared, anxious and depressed little boy again.. that would kill me.. Tae thinks while wiping hid tears and looking at the ocean with fierceness.. The ocean makes him cry as they remind Tae of all the bitter pasts..

Tae cries for few more minutes as hard as he can and soon he gets up and walks back in the room.. Tae then gets dressed in his night dress and lays in the bed staring at the ceiling for few minutes before drifting to sleep..

Yeah, this side of Tae will remain hidden from everyone.. The fragile and vulnerable Tae is like a child hiding in a closet..

Time Skip!

After past midnight.. Jk returns home.. He is drunk and his walk is shaky... But he manages to get into his room only to find out Tae fast asleep..

My Wife waiting for me? Pfft.. what a joke..(says with a heartburn)

This devil will not flinch even when I am dying.. I am damn sure.. (walking towards the side of bed where Taeis facing)

Jk kneels beside the bed and places his face very close to Tae with a comfortable distance though.. the husband starts to whisper more like mumble to himself..

It’s so crazy being married to you (gently stroking tae’s hair.. while scanning every features of his face)

But you looked so beautiful today (making circles gently on tae’s right cheek with his thumb)

I wish your innerself was beautiful as well! You stone.. hmmph..(makes a frown)

After staring at Tae with mixed emotions for a brief moment.. Jk gets up and goes to the washroom.. He changes into his night dress and sleeps beside Tae.. The wife was sleeping soundlessly as he was tired from too much crying.. And it didn’t take long for jk to doze as well because he was already drunk and felt numb all over his body..

The Morning arrived soon!

However, the morning view in the newly wedded couple’s room is way more unexpected than the wedding itself..

Tae’s one leg is wrapped around Jk’s chest while his other leg is hidden under the husband’s waist.. While jk’s face is hidden in Tae’s chest.. and the wife strokes jk’s hair gently in his sleep while cupping the elder’s face entirely in his arms..Jk responds to the gentle strokes by roaming his fingers around Tae’s leg which is placed on his chest.. Yup that’s right they are busy cuddling with each other..

Hmmmmm.. (humming while enjoying his touch)

(Tightens his grip on jk’s hummm and continues to stroke the elder’s hair..)

Feels nice.. (says in raspy sleepy voice)

And snap..that’s it.. Tae was back to his senses..

Yeah.. the next thing jk knows was his a$$ hitting the ground and groans in pain..

Ooucch.. what the fck why did you push me..? (Gently patting his butt while still sitting on the ground) 😡

Who? Who the hell are you and why are you in my bed and how dare you touch me r@scal (quickly grabbing the blanket near him and hiding himself while shouting at jk In shock..)

Tae is sitting on the bed on his knees..

WHAAT..Excuse Me.. I am the man whom you said those so-called I DO couple of hours ago.. (Gets up with a proud face)

Hehe (laughs devilishly) YEAH I AM YOUR HUSBAND JEON TAEHYUNG..

(suddenly realised about hIS wedding yesterday) ohhh.. Ummm.. Yeah I am married (more like talking to himself)

I should be saying that to you (crawls to the bed facing Tae fiercely while the younger moves backward)

(Immediately holds Tae through his shoulders when he tried to escape from the bed) YEah YOU ARE MARRIED..MY FEISTY ONE.. touches should be very common between us (smirks)
