Masquerade meeting: Fated

Princess Ellen had a great plan in mind suddenly...the next morning she heard the servants gossip that tonight there would be a masquerade night. It was a night where woman could choose a random man to drink alcohol and keep company with.

Princess Ellen suddenly thought of a great plan to seduce Avery she decided to go to the masquerade night and spend the night drinking alcohol with him. Princess Ellen was quite delighted with the idea, when the Queen summoned her to her Royal Chamber. Princess Ellen went to the Queen, her mother who had called her to remind not to go out of the palace that night, Ellen disagreed therefore was taken back to her Chamber to be locked behind doors and guarded by several soldiers.

Ellen was so disappointed that her plan had failed however, when a servant came to give her lunch she knocked down the maid unconscious and slipped out of the palace in the maid's clothes. Then she placed the maid on her bed and made it looked like she was asleep. Meanwhile, Avery had no plans to go for the Masquerade however his cousin and bestie Derek begged him to go along with him so he had no choice but to go.

As Derek and Avery walked along the road in their masks covering their eyes making them look so pretty and elegant with their flowery dress. Many women were attracted to them and they were showered with attention which Derek enjoyed however, Avery didn't like to be in the spotlight, and he wanted to get away so he tried to get out of there but wasn't able to..seeing him trying to get away, a girl grabbed his hand and ran away with him towards a quiet place where there was no one.

They ran breathlessly away from the crowd and while trying to catch her breath the girl removed her mask, to Avery's surprise which was none other than Ellen. Avery also revealed his identity by taking off his mask which equally surprised Princess Ellen. They both had a good laugh for the undeniable fact that this meeting was unplanned. After a while as they were chatting..Avery saw a firefly flying and tried to catch it however he failed to catch it but was about to fall but Ellen’s reflexes were quick enough and she was able to catch him before he fell into the pond which was right in front of them.

Despite being able to catch him Avery was weak and Ellen though strong enough they were both dumbstruck and nervous therefore losing control and fell flat on each other and with the force of gravity their lips brushed against each others, which made them more nervous and stunned and had them lying still on the ground until Derek, Avery's cousin came and saw them to which he shouted what they were doing in a public place.

Only then they realized and hurriedly Ellen got up and held her hand out to Avery and pulled him up to his feet however he was pulled with such force out of nervousness that their heads bumped. With this Princess Ellen quickly went on her way back without turning back, leaving Avery and Derek speechless...
