The Jiffy Mode

Returning to our own dormitories we chattered about the incident on Liu’s house or was it not his house. It might be a luminous space for him to go through or live in. It might be possible that either he is faking or the women is but whom to believe because every time we try to check out or try to figure out things, it just gets confusing more and more.

On the very next morning, Sid and I made our own lair in a forest so that we can come whenever we like to discuss or discover things which is real but other worldly to the present times. But then suddenly near the forest the head of the hostels came for patrolling near the roadside and then our adventure began escaping from the forest without being detected by him. Sid was following the way out and I was watching out the headmaster whether he was on the radius of our vision or sight. Then in a jiffy as we moved out of the forest, on our very right hand side route the headmaster was waiting on his bicycle. Seeing him we just ran somehow and went as far as we can but when I looked back then I saw that he was busy in his phone. So, then we took an alternate route and went running to our dormitories and just took breathe of peace in us.

But when Sid returned at night he again had the vision of the same thing that he saw near the house in the shadows until dawn. It was somewhat like a reptilian creature pulling a dead body into the dark but could not see its entire body, but its tail and one a pair of leg was visible which vanished into the shadows after a moment.

We started to think that are we overthinking about the matter? But I could not satisfy my part of my heart consoling it that it is just an illusion of our mind that we are imagining too much. Sid told me that everything is going to end up in a jiffy mode and we would forget everything in no time. But I was always sure to myself that it is not going to end so quickly, so I need to keep searching for it. The next day we went in a casual routine at our going place keeping the illusion in mind but nothing was against. But just the fate was against us conquering everything which should not happened I the distinct time.

Running through the circular ground we caught a puppy and kept it with us because he was alone roaming without any parent dog. We named him ‘Digger’ for the cause that he was keen in digging. We were amazed with him playing, running, crawling, etc. We always used to feed him from the amount of food we quietly brought from the mess and made a small home by bricks and sticks where he could stay. But our happiness could not resists for long because some senior complained about us keeping a puppy and he was sent out from us. We really missed him but we cannot go against the authority or else we would be out of the school. So, we left him out and came but the sight of his felt with regression in us. The last look we saw him turning to us and we filled with tears after the incharge left him kicking outside the ground.

We just went inside with lots of sorrow because we didn’t want him to go but we later relaxed as we knew that dogs always remember the master of theirs’.
