The Strange Family

We ranged on his door ‘Ding Dong’. He wasn’t present at the moment but his mother opened the door greeting us to come inside. But it was strange there because we didn’t see a single bulb slot for lighting the rooms and the whole interior was painted black. Actually we were visiting and meeting his mother for the first time.

But we didn’t get to see anything like this before because if we had to come during the night time the whole house would have been in the shadows. But at least at the day time it is a bit of light in their house due to the grace of the Sun shine coming out of the windows……..

“You all might be thinking how come we knew the address of Liu’s house. It’s simple, we followed him.”

The craziest thing was that we came to complain about Liu to his mother but here, his whole family is weirder. So, we thought to keep silent about Liu and talk in a casual manner of anything rather than this. When we told her that we are Liu’s friend, she laughed insanely telling that he can’t have friends. Why? We asked.

She said that he is not allowed to do so.

Who doesn’t allow him?

She then went inside ignoring the topic and brought snacks for us from the kitchen. So, we too thought to not pull the topic of disgrace to the family and leave it as it is. We started to have the snacks served to us but then a smell very familiar was getting inside our nose. We followed the smell and it was the roasted meat which was the favorite of both of us especially the grilled one. When we were served those, we forgot everything about the weirdness and ate the meal tightly and fully loaded in our stomach.

We thanked Mrs. Nora for the meal and talked with her for a while. Then we asked her about Liu’s room and she showed us the way. Following her gave us some sort of negative vibes coming out from his room. When she opened it and showed us his room we saw just the shadow of darkness, all black and too dark painted.

We just watched out the room for a while and stayed there talking about him while her mother was gone. As the suspiciousness was more this time and there was no way that it can’t be unrealistic. But when we asked her about his room of being so dark, she replied that he likes it this way. Later on we thought to leave it and return back home but when we switched our flashlights on in his room the whole room was covered with letters in the walls with repeated words like ‘SRAD’, ‘ATHAR’, ‘CREAG’ and ‘SAL’. It was written in a repeated mode all over his room and none of the others. Sid captured the pictures of those words without getting noticed by his mother. But for secureness I memorized it repeatedly at the moment.

And guess what happened……………..As we were moving out of the house his mother stopped us. We got halt by Liu’s mother from behind but as soon as we turned back everything changed. The person was not the person we saw or talked to as Liu’s mother. She was someone else and suddenly a shadow passed through our souls saying that this a message for our ignorance, come and find it. We felt like we went through a parallel universe or a divergent past.

Suddenly the original Mrs. Nora called us in for meal but we said that we had our meal at home. But there was no more darkness inside the house and the thing was that she mentioned Liu to not be his son or any child she carry. But she told that the boy often crosses nearby her house and vanishes somewhere. She tries to find out but could not travel so far because she was handicapped by feet. She mentioned Liu as a mysterious boy who have no destination where he goes and comes back again in time………………….But who was that we saw and met as Liu’s mother. Sid acted curiously that she might be the “Empress of the Lost World”.

But when the women closed the door Sid saw something in the dark with glowing eyes and after a moment of sequence it vanished in the shadows as it was the time of the sun down.
