Chapter 1 Into a strange atmosphere

Since the war between the Vamps and the Witches Bagan, most people lost their relatives, some of the family's members died all together, and others died with no reasons. Related to the Li family remained only two siblings, Li Min Yan the older brother and Li Qian Xi , the younger sister.

Xiao Xi : Brother, where did mama and papa go for so long?

Min Yan : (feeling pity on his sister) They're now resting, we don't have to disturb them until the war ended.

Xiao Xi : Brother, will you leave me like what they did to us?

Min Yan : (sigh~) My little blossom (pat her hair) I'll stay by your side forever, or else our parents will be mad at me for not taking a good care of you.

Xiao Xi : (feeling the warmth and happiness) I love you the most, brother. (hug her brother)

Min Yan : (hug her, back) I love you too, my lil blossom.

[Years have passed]

One day, Xiao Xi waits for her brother to come back home, but she fell asleep. Not until midnight Li Min Yan arrived with a pale looking face, Xiao Xi woke up in all of a sudden and ran downstairs to check on her brother once again.

Xiao Xi : Brother! Why are you late today?

Min Yan : What? (suprised~) Oh, just dealing with the business outside. Aren't you sleeping? (change subject)

Xiao Xi : I'm half a sleep and just checking up on you. (smile~)

Min Yan : (thought for a bit) Sis, whenever you grew up, as the youngest daughter of the Li family you don't have to hate everyone who did wrong to you. (cold smile~)

Xiao Xi : Include the witch?

Min Yan : No!!! Except the witch. And one more thing...

Xiao Xi : Why are you telling me all of this?

Min Yan : Just to give you a lesson.

Xiao Xi : Ok, what's the other thing?

Min Yan : Umm...Whoever betrays you, your relatives or someone you used to trust, just count them as strangers.

Xiao Xi : You won't betray me, won't you? Ok got it, goodnight brother. (she ran upstairs without taking the answer from her brother)

Min Yan : {You've got lots of trusts in Xiao Xi, but I'm sorry}

Li Min Yan thought of her questions earlier, it made him thinks hard, he then took a note and write all of the details that he can't even explain her in person. He looks worried, after he finished a sudden voice came over.

The voice : What's your decision?

Min Yan : (sigh~) Haih....I'll go.

He packed all of his stuffs and walked over to his sister's bedroom. He talked softly to her, while she was asleep.

Min Yan : My lil blossom, I can't keep the promise. Brother is really sorry, I hope you can be a good person when you grow up. I'll leave now my cherry blossom, and the question you asked me earlier I.....(startled)

He didn't continue what he said and left with tears. Li Min Yan left with the stranger and together they disappeared into the dark forest. Later that morning, Xiao Xi woke up happily, she washed her face and got dressed, but something does not seem normal to her. She tried to find her brother but he was nowhere to be found. Front yard, backyard, garden the park, no he was not there, he's nowhere. Xiao Xi felt disappointed and went back home, suddenly something caught her attention, he brother's bedroom's door was wild open. She went it and walked over to his desk, there she saw a note, she read it and felt a little upset but she did not cry, she knew that there's still more time for her to search for her brother, but it's not the right time, she knew that her brother won't leave her alone.
