This is known as STAR EMPIRE. This empire is in modern world but it also have magic.
(It is called Asian continent. Magic is something only the heir can have.)
The magic is only passed to the king/queen of the kingdom (for 5 Kingdom).
There is magical sword which will chose it's own master. That person either a boy or girl will be the ruler.

Dark side is very cruel, which is possed by demons.
Demons stays under ground. (there base is underground but stays on earth as humans using shadow techniques which helps them to have shadow in broad daylight).

Lucifer was locked into the Heavenly pond by the Goddess.
