The two boys entered the house, coming into view once the doors were pushed shut, hiding the dark behind them.
"Matt! Calen!" The other shouted all at different times, before standing to approach the two. Hailey and I exchanged glances as we remained sitting on the floor by the pool table, now by ourselves.
Focusing on them I realised the one standing on the right was the one we ran into at the hospital, except his face was brightened, even by the littlest smirk spread from the greating from his friends. It made him look way cuter, oh wow, my heart sped up a little. You can stop now!
But it was the guy on the left who gave me a strange sence of Déjà vu- " Calen!?" Hailey stammered arising from the floor and joy projecting off her face. She slowly skipped towards him, like a little girl in a toy section.
"Hailey!...Omg! Haz!!!" The expression was similar to Haileys. He was a good looking asian boy, who wore an oversized hoodie, which would've been a dress on me, cause he was that dam tall.
He shuffled over giving Hailey a full on hug, displaying they were close. " I missed you two like crazy! So much has happened in a year... oh right, Haz, how is everything right now? Wow, did u really have to move schools because of-"
Flexing her arm to cover Calens mouth, Hailey yanked on his arm and pulled him away to the corner. While I just remained on the floor feeling eyes burn into my soul, with such staring from two angles.
"I'm good by the way." I said giving thumbs up, before sulking by myself.
His expression changed within a few seconds. You kinda get used to it, when your informed that Hazel Burns has forgotten everything about herself.
I heard him say with disappointment in his voice, " Well that's why she didn't jump like crazy when she saw me... " before continuing to chat away with Haily in the corner, with glances at my direction every few seconds.
The silence in the house meant I could feel the questions from everyone else forming. What did Calen mean? What was he told? Why did she move schools?
"Oh! Boys, youve returned , why didnt u tell me?" Georgia announced from the top of the stairs breaking the tension in the house.
Her once singlet and loose denim shorts, had transformed into a yellow dress tyed like a bikin at the front. Her hair remained gorgeous floating around her and her face became even more beautiful from the make up she'd applied.
"Geogia. What happened to Miss OMG THERE HOME and flakey skin" teased Cadence crossing her arms and slowing having a huge smug smirk appear on her face. The others around her began to laugh, while Georgia's complex skin began to have pinches of colour drawn to it.
"That doesnt matter anymore because Matt is home" smiling her ran to the guy I met at the hospital and embraced him with an arm crunching hug. The twist of his lips suggested he didn't feel the same way Georgia felt about him.
Breaking free, he raked his hands through his hair. "Riley stayed. He is fearing the worst. He just won't be positive."
The room went so quiet, in the distance u could here a window from upstairs banging against the wall.
"But hey, for me to be here, things are improving" he said forcing a smile apon his face.
"I'm going to get more food" Olivia said, obviously having enough of the awkward tension throughout the house. "Me... to..." Stammered Kurt following her into the kitchen. cute i thought, before racking my brain to try and remember, did i ever have a boyfriend??
Matts eyes circled the room, before making contact with mine. His smile became a grin as he paced his way towards me.
In the background I saw Georgia nearby staring at me with her face now turning a dark shade of purple. Yes already i met someone who despised me.
But that didnt matter. Because this boy in front of me sent my hear racing out of control, even after the first meet. He offered his hand to me. "Hi, I'm Matt, how are you Ms. Hospital."
