The Greedy Owner

In japan the government was strict when it came to taxing. This led people care only for themselves. It was mid day when the owner of Osaka Shop met the pregnant woman and her mother. He had them work as lower ranking servants. He didnt even spare Shizu the pregnant woman who was in her 20s. Odd as it seems,the other servants started going to Shizu for fortune telling. At first the owner of Osaka thought it was a joke. But her predictions were always correct. She would write her predictions on a piece of paper and it would be known as God's decree.

There the owner struck a deal to

Yae,Shizu's mother. If Shizu were to give all her predictions to him , he would make sure Shizu and Yae will live as fancy as he does.

So Yae went to talk to Shizu.

"Shizu what do you think about Osaka's proposal?"

"Mother if this will lead us to a good and peaceful life i would agree to it."

When the owner heard of this he was glad.

But it was written all over his face. He only wanted to make money out it. But Yae only smiled.

"Shizu...i'll tell him our answer"
