5. Well isn't it great

It was lunch time, and as usual I was sitting in my seat, which was definitely at the corner of the room.

"Oh I am so happy!" Anna exclaimed.

"What is she talking about?" I asked stace. She shrugged her shoulders, "Anna would you like to elucidate?"

"Oh you foolish people," she said taking a bite of her lunch, " ofcourse I'm talking about Elena not being here. Doesn't this place looks like heaven without her. Thank God she has gone."

"You speak like she's never coming back." I said

She snorted, " Oh you don't know how much I wish that." Then beaming she added, "but as well as enjoy these few days without the queen bee in school."

"Hmm" I nodded. Elena is really a number one bi***. I hope you understood what I meant.

She was the one behind all that happened between me and Ev......Oh Evan!! I need to tell them about Evan right now.

"Anna Stace, I really need to tell you this right now."

They looked at me seriously.

"What's wrong Mia?" Anna took my hands in her.

"Is everything fine?" Stace asked me.

I shook my head,

"Amelia!!" Someone called out my name. Oh I know that someone and how much I wish I wouldn't have known him.

Suddenly chill ran down my spine.

Anna's facial expressions changed from serious to a full blown grin, "Hey look who's there!"

"Oh it's Evan!" Stace mocked.

Finally I turned around my head to look at him. He was coming here!

Oh no! No! No! No!

"You think you're going somewhere?" Damien stepped in front of him.

I sighed, Damien you are my life saviour. I turned around in my seat to face Anna and Stace again. They were looking at me with questioning eyes. I raised my eyebrow.

"Why do I see Damien stopping Evan from coming near you?" Stace asked.

"Well don't you see Stace... Damien is jealous of Evan. He doesn't want him to come near his Amelia." Anna stated. I choked, " What?! His Amelia?!"

She nodded and then grinned at me.

But Stace pouted and said, " But I wanted Evan to come."

Oh this girl is really planning to have a punch from me.

"I don't know but I don't like Evan much." Anna said. Oh my! I really love this girl!

"And that's why I'm shipping Damien with her." Or maybe not.

I growled, "Will you both stop shipping me with them!"

"No!" They grinned. Someone remind me why are they my best friends.

I was about to turn around when Three chairs were dragged to our table, and three boys sat on them. With a questioning look I looked at them.

"It's not public seat, I guess." I said.

"Uh-huh, you are wrong there, it is a public seat....it is not private." The blonde guy said.

-" What I meant was, What do you want?"

"Friendship" This time the black haired one popped up.

-" And what makes you think that you'll get one?" I tried to enquire.

"Umm, maybe the fact that you're Damien's friend, and we too are Damien's friend."

-"I am not Damien's friend, so you can leave."

"Well then, if you're not, we can still be friends." The blonde one said.

Suddenly Anna and Stace interupted."Why not, ofcourse."

I turned to glare at them. Such friends I have.

They both looked at me and then Anna said something which I would have not imagined in my 16years of my life, "You are such a fun spoiler Amelia." I snapped my head to her.

"I know" Stacey added. And now I snapped my head to her, "What? I did nothing!"

They gave me a deadpanned look, and then stacey motioned me to zip my mouth up.

Upset, I did what I was told to do. But the next thing they both did I mentally noted to myself to never listen to them again.

"Yes we will be your friends." Anna said excitedly.

All the three boys smiled and the next thing I knew, they were introducing themselves.

"Hi I'm Valentino." The blonde one started.

"And I'm Max." The black hair guy said.

"Seriously, I have to introduce myself" this one was the brunnete hair guy, he spoke for the first time since the boys arrived, and as far as I can see he was really not interested in coming here, but was forced to come. I can understand how it feels boy.

Valentino smacked him in the stomach, "Yes you have to." He glared at him.

"Okay then, I'm Shane." Then looking at Valentino, he added "Happy?"

-"Very much."

Suddenly someone came and sat beside me.

"So what did I miss?" I heard Damien say.

"You just missed the introduction session." I said rolling my eyes. He laughed. I looked around the room to look for Evan. Sensing my discomfort, Damien whispered into my ears, "Don't worry Li, he's not here."

I looked at him, blue eyes sparkling, looking at me with concern. I smiled at him warmly, "Thank you" I mouthed to him.

He nodded smiling at me, "I know Li he makes you uncomfortable. I don't know the reason but I know there is something you are keeping inside,and I'll wait for the moment when you are ready to tell me."

I nodded. Oh God! Please save me from him, why does he have to be so caring.

I was home in my room, when Dad knocked the door.

"Will you meet me in my room after dinner?"

"Yeah sure Dad"

After Dinner I went straight into his room, "Dad?"

-"Oh you came, come sit here princess." I sat on the edge of the bed and asked, "So what do you wanna talk about?"

-"First of all, how are things going with Evan?"

I sighed, "As usual, nothing extra ordinary."

-"You sure princess, You don't want me to break bone of that boy."

I smiled, "I'm sure Dad, I'll manage."

-"Okay then, I trust you."

-"So what's the second thing?"

-"Oh yeah, the second thing... your favourite cousin is coming to meet you."

"What!!" I squealed excitedly, something good was going to happen after so many days.

"Which one? Bella, Emily or Stewart?" I loved all my cousins, they were so good.

-"Joey."

Okay..., maybe except this one.

"What? Say you're joking."

-" No princess, I'm not joking."

-" Then Dad how can you say that he's my favourite?!"

He rubbed the back of his neck, "Well isn't he?"

-"Seriously! You know how much of a troublesome he is, the last time he visited me, there was not a single day he didn't prank on me."

-"Cousins do this, and afterall it tells how much comfortable he is with you."

-"Comfortable my foot!"

"Language Amelia." Dad warned.

"But Dad, he can't come, please tell him he can't come, or else I'll leave home." I whined.

-"Oh honey, I'm sorry but the tickets have already been booked and I can't do anything, So where do you think you're going to live? Maybe you'll need some money?"

-"Uhh!! You know I won't leave home, and you're taking advantage of that."

He put his hands up and smiles, "Oops! The damage is done, princess."

I stormed out of the room, "Night!"

-"Goodnight Princess." I heard him chuckle.

I slammed the door of my room, and jumped into my bed, I think there was rather less stress in my life, that Joey too got the invitation,

Hey you're welcome to make Amelia'a life a hell.

I checked my phone, 3 msgs. I opened the first one,

Goodnight 'Li'

Goodnight 'Evan'.

Evan texted back

Look Amelia I don't know how to say this but, I'm really sorry for what I did, I'll do anything to get your trust back and...our friendship.

I stared at the message. I didn't reply to his message, cause frankly, I don't know what to say. As much as I want to forget about that incident, I can't. It's like the more I try the more difficult it becomes.

I opened the 2nd msg,

I was about to go back and check the last msg, when Damien texted back.

You haven't slept yet?

No, I have, actually I'm so deep in sleep that I'm snoring:/

Really? I would reallt love to see that, can you send me a video? Or a pic can do too? You would really make a cute snoring girl.;)
