Edward's POV

After heading out I told a policeman to keep an eye on her and report me if anything suspicious happens.

My head was hurting and the incident from 11 years ago was appearing in front of me.

Suddenly my sight goes blur and I almost fell on table before Leth catches me.

Hey bro, What happened? Are you ok? He asks me but before answering it, I passed out.

Next moment, I opened my eyes in hospital. Leth was sitting next to me with worried look.

Leth......Wha....What happened to me? Why am I here? I asked in a weak voice.

Brother, You overworked yourself too much, Which results in your bad condition, You need to rest now, I have already taken 3 days leave for you. Leth replied angrily.

What? No...Why did you do that? I am okay. It is just because I didn't sleep properly last night! I said to him.

Do you think I am a fool? I know you from childhood, Atleast don't lie to me. Leth said angrily.

But.....I was about to speak but Leth intrupted me No but! You are not going to work for next three days. I will take care of matters here.

I always lose in front of him. I think that's why he is my best friend.

Leth's POV

When I was doing my work, I saw Edward was behaviour strange, I think his head is hurting again, I quickly get there and catched him when he was about to fall.

I took him to hospital where doctor asked to me

Mr. Leth, Since when he is having this kind of headache?

From 11 years ago, after he fails to save a girl. I reply.

Many doctors treated him many times but it all work for some time and after that he again got the headaches, it happened many times. I continued.

I see, I am writing some medicines, Please take good care of him and don't let him overwork himself. Doctor said to me.

He woke up when I was sitting next to him, I scolded him. But I am relieved he is fine now.

Author's POV

Edward was willing to work but Leth didn't let him.

Leth sent Edward to his mother's home which was in Z city and handle case there on his own.

On the other side the killer was keeping his eye on Edward.

Edward can't even imagine that the person he want to find so badly is watching his every move. From his morning breakfast to evening coffee.
