Chapter one

Jungkook clocked out of his job at the same time like he does every day. He hangs his starbucks apron on the hook at 10:23 pm and turns the lights off and locks the front door.

He stretches his back out after a long 9 hour shift before slowly walking back home. The streets in Seoul were always peaceful. There were only a few people out on this Sunday night and he looked at them. Some were holding hands, one couple was just talking to each other and laughing about something he couldn't make out.

jungkook didn't realise how lonely his life was until he felt his small smile turn into a long frown. Every since his brother Tae moved out the country to persue a music career with his best mates, he's been lonely. His parents lived in Busan . Once the kids were out of high school and hold enough to live on their own, they lived out there dream to leave the country they grew up in and live in Busan.

Jungkook didn't want them to leave, but his parents were so happy that they could finally do this and then Tae moved to LA and now He has no immediate family.

He lived in his own flat with rowdy neighbors and a shitty Homes Owners Association. he could never get anything done with them. One time he wanted to paint his living room a neutral color like a beige color. It took him 2 years to finally get it done and by that time he'd changed his mind on the color.

As he stepped into his tiny apartment, he fell onto his couch and let out a sigh as he slipped his shoes off by his toes and let his black dyed hair flow down his hair as he decided to take a nap before deciding to walk down the street.

As he walked with a mouth full of fries, he heard a little squeal from the alley down the way from where he was. He furrowed his eyebrows before contining to walk to his flat.

He heard the little squeak, but this time it was a little louder. The alley was dark and he couldn't hear a thing, but when a tiny kitten came out from the shadows, his heart wept. He was always an animal lover and wanted to rescue everything that didn't have a home.

"Hi little guy. What are you doing out here?" He asked as the little blonde kitten rubbed it's head against his leg. He went to pet him, but he hissed and bit her hand. "Ow. You little devil."

He bent down to pick him up. "I'm gonna take you Mochi. Thats your name you little devil." He smiled before walking the rest of the way to hIs house.

He laid down a bowl and placed milk inside, after seeing how malnourished he was, as the kitten ran over to his and started licking the bowl clean.

jungkook giggled and laughed as the kitten played with some thread on his pillow case. He watched as the kitten fell off the couch and rolled onto its back after letting out a squeal. His ear, fell and its tail was behind his legs.

"Jimin , are you okay? Be careful next time." He asked, picking up the small kitten and placing him back on the couch. "Come one kitty lets go to bed." He picked up the fragile ball of fur and walked towards his bedroom. He placed him on the end of his bed, before pulling the covers back and crawling in bed.

Jimin looked at his sleeping figure and got off the bed. He looked at his before running down the hall. He turned and fixed his beanie on his head before walking out the house quietly.
