2-3 Something Feels off Night Stay

The horrors I felt were not worth mentioning as I wanted to bottle them inside me forever, but nothing lasts forever.

After 6 years I met Asahi again, in a pub.

“Hey man, how have you been?”

“REO? Where have you been all these years? You suddenly disappeared you could have at least called me or something”

“Uh, yeah but you know I was really busy”

“Hmm, busy with what?”

“I went out to study, my step-father made it happen suddenly so yeah...”

“All is forgiven, So tell me did you find yourself a woman or something?”

“Ummm, who would love an idiot like me Asa”

The one I like is you, you idiot

“what?? seriously?”

“Yeah, so tell me how’s your life been?”

“Good, nothing worth mentioning except that I’m a police officer now and sometimes I work with this gentleman here who is a detective”

“Wow, You made your dream come true man, I wish I could do mine though, but you know my linework is a little bit risky, hehehe”

“Risky, huh? What do you do these days?”

“I’m just a, a yeah I’m just a factory worker”

We chatted away like good old buddies again and exchanged our new numbers, as we said goodbye to one another. As I walked back home I felt uneasy so I decided to go back home for the night.

“Something feels off, I haven’t felt like this for a while now, looks like someone is on my tail, I need to be more careful from now on”

My sense of danger never fails to be wrong even for just a minute, and that's what I had felt when I met Asahi again, I wonder if he will be an obstacle in my course of work.

I looked out of the window and surely there were two men in Black suits talking among each other just below my apartment, they are from ‘Sentosa organisation’ How I know that? The pin in their ears act as communication transmitter, oh well they won’t try anything, maybe I should move.

Maybe I should call Asashi over tonight in case try anything, having a police with me would be safe right?

*ring ring*

“Asa do you wanna come to my house tonight?”

“Dang you beat me to it, I though I was going to be the one to call first anyways, Why do you want me to come to your house in the middle of the night? Is something wrong?”

“Nothing’s wrong, just for old times lets drink in my house I will be busy from tomorrow so I won’t be having much time to talk to you or meet you so I thought if it’s for today we could catch up since 2 hours was not enough to do all the talking”

“Sure, text me your address since I don’t know it”

“Did, before calling you!”

“Wow, do you think 10 steps ahead? You never change....I’ll be there, oh your place is quite near to mine”

“hehehe, come then”

“yeah, 5 min and i’ll be there”

*click*

I kept the phone down and looked outside the window again, they were still there, I wonder if Asahi will talk to them to ask what they are doing there.

....

I heard some bickering noise outside in about 3-4 min, I looked down to find Asahi and the two guys arguing with something I wonder what its all about. Then I saw Asahi come inside the building as the two men went away.

*ding dong ding dong*

“Coming just a minute”

I opened the door and Asahi came in with a cheerful smile on his face

“Hey there, Reo I bought some snacks to go with the beer”

“Welcome”

He entered and straight went to the kitchen, he put his snacks down and took out all the beer cans I had.

“Will you be able to drink all of them?”

“hehehe! Let’s see”

“Competition in drinking too? geez You never change as well”

We sat down in front of the TV and started talking about the old days and what happened to us in our lives when we had been separated,

“So, what happened during your stay in China Reo?”

“N-nothing m-much”

“Hmmm...are you hiding something?”

“Nah, say what were you talking to those guys down there?”

“Oh those people from the Sentosa Organisation?”

“Y-you know them?”

“Nah, but I know where they come from since I have met them a lot of time during my cases”

“Oh”

“Well I was asking them why they were here and they said it was none of my business and then I showed them that I was a cop they told me they were looking for some person with the code name Routaru or something like that”

My eyes widened and I almost spit my drink out....thank god he doesn’t know my code name.

Code names are given by the leader of the yakuza tribe and followed through and through and somehow the three different organisations in Japan the Sentosa, Kiragan and Shimura organisation found out all of the code names but thankfully they don’t have our faces yet.

“Hey watcha thinking?”

“N-nothing, look at the time, stay over tonight”

“Yeah, I planned on doing that, look I got my PJ’s as well, hic”

“Are you drunk already?”

“Nah, I just.....need to go to the restroom”

“Oh sure”

He got up and stumbled a little I offered him a hand to help him.

“I told you I’m alri~~~”

We fell together me on top of him. He looked sexy with his shirt a bit open and his pants loose, He was drunk and he looked a bit flushed.

“Umm, I’m sorry I’ll get up right away”

“N-no its ok”

i looked back and got off of him at that time he pulled me by my hand and I fell back on him.

“Can we stay like this for a moment longer?”

I looked at his face, it was red, it was hard to tell if he was red because of being drunk or was he blushing, I knew that if he was drunk then maybe just maybe I could take advantage of that as he would not remember the next day.

I took the chance I bent down and kissed him.
