The Birth of Cooper Wright Jenkins

April, 18 1994

(Minda POV)

Pain shot up my back as I was rolled into a room. Nurses yelled over me and a doctor checked how far I was dilated. My husband is on my right side holding my hand and whispering sweet nothings in my ear. As another contraction came a scream filled the room silencing everyone. "Can you please get him out?!?!" I yelled angrily. The doctor checked how far I was and immediately smiled saying I was ready.

Hours have passed until finally I heard a loud cry. I relaxed into the bed while tears brimmed my eyes. "Congratulations Mrs.Jenkins and Mr.Jenkins it's a boy!!! What will you name him?" The doctor said cheerfully. "Cooper wright Jenkins." I said softly. I looked up at my husband to see him smiling gently at me. He bend over to kiss my head. "Welcome to the world Cooper." I said softly before going to darkness.

A few weeks passed and we were finally able to go home. I was excited. I couldn't wait to show Cooper his room. As we parked into the driveway of our home I quickly got out and began jumping on my toes. As my husband got Cooper out I unlocked the front door so he can carry him in. "Welcome home Cooper." He said softly while looking at Cooper fondly. "Yes, welcome home baby boy." I unbuckled him from his seat and immediately walked towards the room with my husband behind me. I stopped in front of the door and waited for a moment before opening the door. It was a beautiful room. The walls were painted as a rainbow. Pictures of ultrasounds were scattered along the wall. Cooper's name was painted on the wall in blue. The brown cot was pushed along the wall in the center making the room complete. There was also the small chest of toys for when he gets older and the closet full of clothes. It was indeed a beautiful room for a beautiful baby boy.

On the same day

As night fell, me and my husband was taking care of Cooper. He's a really quiet baby. He barely even cries, and that really concerns me. I gave a call to the doctor about it, but he said it was normal. My concern flew away as the doctor reassured me. As I climb into bed I gently made my way into my husband's arms. He immediately hugged me tightly while snoring. I giggled softly and immediately fell asleep tired from the events that happen.
