Episode 1

I’m on my way to Philippines where I’m scheduled to meet Mr. Benjamin Walter, owner of a leading fashion brand in the world named Morshes. Weird name, I think to myself, but remind myself that it has nothing to do with me. I’m going on this trip with my boss Ms. Rachel Stane. She is engaged to Morshes’ heir, so she is going to visit her father-in-law and her fiancé. I’m her temporary assistant for the next week as her asst couldn’t join in, so I get to go on the trip, too.. Why me? I’m her most trusted person in the company according to her: I’m the one who deals with the company’s marketing strategies, and therefore I make her brand famous. I’ve done well over the four years I’ve worked here. I completed college early, being the overachiever I am. I’ll be stuck by her side for the next week. Actually, it’s not so bad as she’ll be with her fiancé and I’ll be free to enjoy myself.

I was brought back to reality by the announcement from the flight attendant that we were about to land.

I felt nervous as the islands became visible in sight cause it was my first flight out of the country.

The flight landed and we walked out with me following her (My boss). There was a black limousine waiting for us. Yeah Mr. super billionaire had to show off.

“Oh my! Richhy really cares a lot “she exclaimed.  If you are wondering who is “Richhy” than its her fiancé whose name is Richard Spark Walter and that’s the nickname she gave him. Actually there was a rumor that he didn’t allow her to use his actual nickname. Kinda weird… He’s not known to be a public figure. He practically stays away from media so there are no pictures of him anywhere on the internet. So I don’t know who he is or what he looks like expect from factual stuff…

Our drive was a headache for me. She babbled nonstop about her “Richhy” and that disgusted me. She is practically obsessed with him. Oh sorry not with him but by his money. Yeah you’re right; she’s that typical over poised and too sophisticated of a person and a total bitch but… not to me. She’s nice to me and you know why.

We reached our destination that was to be resort after 30 mins of drive and headache for me. The resort was one of a kind. It was opposite to a beach. It was well built and a 7 star rated one and I know this from the constant babbling from Rachel.

We were greeted with fresh coconut water at the entrance. We took out respective keycards and headed to our rooms.

I was just leaving when Rachel called me

“Yes Rachel…”

“Ivy, we are supposed to meet Richhy and Mr. Walter at 1:00 sharp for the lunch and now its 11:30 so plz be here on time. I wouldn’t want them to wait, Richhy won’t appreciate you know.”

“Ok, I’ll meet you here in an hour then”

“Yeah and plz dress nicely, you know what I mean right?”

Yeah bitch I thought.

“Yeah” I replied instead.

So now I don’t get to rest too. Ughhhhhh…
