...THE CULPRIT...

I am now getting ready for my work. I am currently working on a grocery store. It's a li'l big store and many of the people in this town buy their needs there. It is a convinient for them to go there because that is located in the center of this town. So, it's much easier for them to go there.

After I finish my routine I immediately go to my workplace. When I reach that, Mr. Arnold greet me so I greet him back. Mr. Arnold is one of our security guards here. Mostly, his shift is same as mine. He works in day shift.

When I enter the store, there I saw a girl mopping the floor. "Jennifer!" she called me. "There you are. You are one minute late."

My brows creased as I take a look on my watch. "It's just one minute, tho." I said and head to the lockers. I changed my clothes to my uniform and go to the cashier.

"Mico and Xyrus isn't here yet." she said.

"Obviously." I sarcastically answer her. "Maybe hang over again? They always drink."

"You can't blame them." she said. "Xyrus just got dumped by his girldriend and Mico have family issues." Faye added.

"But, why waste time on that girl? I mean, just be happy that, that girl and him are break now. Than, they are together but that girl is cheating, right?"

"Yea, you have a point. But, either of it is really painful you know?" We're shocked when Xyrus come out of nowhere. "You have no idea 'cuz you have no experience." he added and just go to the lockers and brag the door close.

"I think you two need to stop gossiping." Mico said while chuckling. I just shook my head and start to work because the customer are getting more and more.

It is Saturday and when it's Saturday many people in this town are going here to buy their needs. Smaller stores doesn't have some of their needs.

It is really tiring when you are just standing. But, I need to do this. We are working from 6AM to 6PM.

"Jen, I think Xyrus is angry at us?" she whispered. We are now sitting at the bench here outside the store, eating something.

"I just said what I'm thinking." I answered and drink the Gatorade i'm holding.

"I think he's really hurt." Faye replied "We need to say sorry."

I just stare at nowhere when mh eyes caught a girl with a boy walking in the sidewalk. Yea, it's Xyrus ex and his new boyfriend. I shooked my head and enter the store again. I went to the bathroom and head to the cashier.

When 6PM passed and there the night shift staffs came, I changed my clothes and went home with Faye. Faye then separated her path because we are in different streets.

When I continue to walk, there I saw again Xyrus' ex. Not far from where they are, I saw Xyrus standing watching. His ex is laughing with his new boyfriend, while I saw a tear escape from Xyrus' eyes. He's really hurt. How can that girl laugh while her ex is in great great pain? She's unbelievable.

When I got home, I cooked for myself and watch my favorite drama at night. When the drama is finish, I washed the plates I used and spent some time reading books and after that, I went to sleep.

Tomorrow morning I prepared for myself because it's Sunday. And when it's Sunday, I still have work. My rest day is Friday and not Sunday.

When I got into my workplace, many people are around our store. I took a glance on my watch and saw that it's just 5:45 AM. Why is there many people here?

I saw Faye in the door talking to Xyrus and Mico. I went there and asked Faye what's happening.

"Didn't you see it?" she asked, "See what?" I asked.

"There," she said and grabe me to the circle of people. I saw Xyrus' ex girlfriend lying in the floor with her blood. "She's now dead."

I turned my gaze to Xyrus that's being interrogated by some policeman. He's crying. I went there, with them.

"Are they accusing Xyrus?" I asked Mico and he just nod.

"Xyrus really love Zia and because of their break up, it's possible that Xyrus will do it. But, Xyrus's with me last night. "We're at the bar. And I really remember bringing him home before go into my own. It's impossible for him to do that."

"I saw Xyrus yesterday, watching his ex and her new boyfriend from afar." I said. "But he turned his back in just few moment." I added. "I think he didn't."

The day passed by and brought by the policemen in the police station for further interrogating. When the night comes, I did the same routine but I couldn't stop on thinking what just happen this morning. The situation is already broadcast in the television and they are interrogating Xyrus and Zia's current boyfriend. I can't tell who did it for now but the truth will be answer after few days, I know. When I got drowsy, I went to sleep immediately for good sleep.

The next day passed by and we just knew that Mr. Arnold is dead. He got killed in the haunted street here in town. Many of the people didn't go there because it's dark there and kind of horror. On the next day, One of the night shift staffs is found dead in the locker room of our store. The killer knew where our CCTV located so that killer performed his action well. The traces we're none. Policemen interrogated us and confirmed as innocent. They say that the killings here is very well planned. On the other day, the owner of our store came because of his concern about the killings. But, when he arrived, he detailed that he saw a dead body again. And no way, it's one of our security guards at night shift. They interrogated our boss and affer that, our boss decided to talk with us.

He said that he will just close the shop for the mean time. The killings are happrning every night. And, he said that it will be more safe for us to close the shop for few days. We agreed to the boss' decision a d decided to went home. He also inform the night shift staffs that don't come this week because it's temporary closed.

It's now Thursday and I have no idea what to do so, I am cleaning my house today. At first, I did the laundry and cleaning the shelves at my room. I cleaned the living room and kitchen. I didn't forget about cleaning the bathroom after I took my lunch. It's so tiring day.

It's alteady 5PM and when taking a glance on what should I clean next I saw a room. The door of it is little bit open and the light in there is close. Before going there, I took the broom and dustpan. I am sure I haven't clean this one.

I went to the room I will clean and open the lights. When I took a glance in the room, my brows met. I close the door and went closer to the pin board.

The pin board have different picture of different person. My mouth literally dropped when I recognize who is the persons in the pictures.

It's Zia, Mr. Arnold, Henry, Michael, Andrea and many more. I turn around and saw a knife at the table. It's...

IT'S BLOODY!!

My hands begin to tremble while I am about to touch the knife. When I finally touch it, a tear escape my eyes and the policeman's detail about the killer brings back.

"*The killer is a woman."

"She is using a knife to kill every single person."

"She is left-handed*."

I dropped the knife and saw a jacket beside it.

"She is wearing black jacket, when we saw a CCTV near that haunted street."

And there I remember all of my dreams.

When the day that Zia is found dead, I dreamed about her being killed by someone with black jacket. I saw that killer in my dream.

In the haunted street, I also aw the killer killed Mr. Arnold.

All of my dreams became true.

My cellphone rings and I answer it immediately when I saw that it's Doctora Mendez.

("Hello, Jennifer. ")

"hello doc?"
