Episode 18

Ophelia's pov:

Monday is like the worst way to start your week "Hey hun, why are you sneezing so much?" my mom noticed my mood "I just came down with a cold and my throat is hurting very bad" I grab a juice box from the fridge "Please have something not cold it'll only make it worse" said mom with a warning voice "Where's dad and those annoying brats?" I asked due to the place being really quiet.

"Your Dad took them to school not long ago" I hum in response "I heard the conversation last night with Teng fei, I heard you were meeting his family" talk about having privacy in this family "I'm kinda scared if they won't like me" I said "Don't say that they'll absolutely love you, put positive thoughts" she said, the doorbell then rang "I'll get it" I said before going and open the door to see my boyfriend "Good morning, I bought you some hot coco and donuts on the way" he gave me the paper bag, he then lean in for a kiss but I pushed him away.

"You can't kiss me as I don't want to share my cold" I said "I know that, I bought you some medicine for your throat" eh! is this guy a spy or something? "Your brother called me this morning to inform me of your cold ao I had to make sure it won't get worse" aww he's so caring "Aww! isn't he just caring?" my mom came in "Good morning mrs. Roberts amd I bought you these" he handed her roses "So wait! she's getting roses and I'm not" not to say I was kinda jealous "Darling, please don't be jealous I'll make sure to bring an extra for you" he kissed my cheek.

"Come let me give you your meds" he sat me on the couch. As I drink the medicine I spit it out "It taste disgusting!" I scrunched my face "Come on now Ophelia, stop being a baby!" my mother warned "Fine!" I drank it all up in a quick shot "Good girl, now drink your coco to cut the bitter taste" Teng fei instructed me.

After he dropped me to work he made sure to give me a kiss before telling me goodbye, I came in the building with a happy smile to see Sofia and Diana glaring at each other "Hey guys, what's up?" I asked "Ask her" Diana pointed to sofia "Ok, so last night I found my boyfriend making out with her cousin who thinks high of herself, when I told her she said I was the wrong one for leaving my boyfriend lying around" sofia cried "It was your fault you thought his rich mom wouldn't like you and use my stuff to make yourself high and mighty to impress and then behaving like you own my mom's restaurant!" Diana yelled.

"Guys stop it!" I silenced them "Just put everything behind and forgive each other" instead of handling it like adults they stomped away from each other like kids, just then a girl walk in looking all expensive with her fancy clothes "Hi cus, what's up?" it was Diana's cousin which I guess sofia was referring to "Nothing much Allison, why are you here?" she aksed her "I came here to get something for my really oily skin" she said "Well you'll have to talk to my friends Ophelia" she pointed to me "So she's the pretty one who has the asian boyfriend" she stride towards me.

"So, what can you recommend for my oily skin?" she asked "This moisturizer will do you great and it has this lavender scent" I handed her the bottle "I love it. At least your professional unlike that fake princess over there" oh deer! "Say the girl who makes barbie look more real than her" sofia scoffed "Look who's speaking, the one who's parents are drug addicts till this day and lives off her friend's money when she was in high school" she smirk "What did you just say?!" sofia asked her angrily "You heard me or do you need your ear to be waxed out?" she said in a bratty tone. Sofia jumped over the counter and gave her a hard slap.

"My daddy is gonna sue you!" she pulled her hair "Hey no fighting!" me and Matteo try to pull them apart but failed, I hate to see the look on the manager face when she finds out about this. We soon were able to pull them apart "Stop! sort this out like grown adults not like kids!" I told them "You just wait until my daddy sues you" Allison said before stomping out "I..I need to go" sofia said brfore picking up her bag and leave, I yelled her name but she didn't even turn around.

Teng fei then came "Woah, did a hurricane past through here?" he noticed all the broken bottles and mess "Sofia kinda fought with someone and now I have to clean up this mess" Diana is over like nothing happened "I'll help you" he assured "No, you can go back to work" I told him "No, it's ok" he reassured, I just let him help as I know I won't be winning.
