Episode 14

Teng fei's pov:

It has been a year since me and ophelia became friends and every passing day my feelings grew for her and now it's getting out of hand, everytime I'm around her and any man comes up to her I'll possessivly put my arm around her waist and then shot him a glare. I've took her for the past months on alot of dates which she appreciate alot .

My mother on the other hand was still in a coma but the doctors say their finally seeing improvement for the first time in 11 years, they also said she might wake up anytime soon which I'm very happy about. My sister is doing well but still having problems with our so called stepmother and sister "Fei fei, what do you want for lunch?" Ms. Henry asked, Ms. Henry was mom's loyal servant and promised her she'll take care of me till death.

"I'll just have nugget and some Mac and cheese" I said "Thinking about that girl again, aren't you?" she smirk while I blush "Something like that" I mumbled but it was loud enough for her to hear "Come on, stop sitting here and thinking and start doing" just then my phone ring, it was Ophelia I then answer it before putting on speaker "Hi Teng fei, what's up?" her voice is like music to my ears "Nothing just chilling as it is sunday" I spoke "Me too. So I was wondering if your coming to Diana's birthday party next Saturday?" it's the perfect time to confess to her.

"Yeah sure" Zen then walked into my office and ofcourse he noticed what I was doing "Good I'll text you the place and time, bye" with that she hanged up "Don't worry I'll give you tips on how to smile" he said jokingly "Tell me the reason why you are here" I said "Well your grandparents are visiting in 4 weeks time" theirs going to be alot of commotion between Grandma and Dad for sure "But she's asking who's that little girl of yours" this jerk couldn't close his mouth "She'll know soon" I smirk while zen gave me a suspicious look "Your confessing to her, aren't you?" I just blush like a lovesick school girl "I knew it" he laughed.

Ophelia's pov:

I can't believe it's already one year since I'm friends with Teng fei and I'm like seriously in love with him but afraid to confess. My brother finally graduated from theater school and is acting is first sitcom netflix show, my mom is still looking pretty, my Dad is still handsome and my sister is still annoying as always.

"Hi princess, Why are you smiling at the ceiling?" I turned to see mom and Dad at the door "Just thinking about someone" I then realize what I said "Who's this special person?" mom smirked "Teng fei" my mouth slipped again "I knew it! the moment he entered the picture you were like a little puppy in love" she laughed "You can't leave us here to die" my Dad said dramatically "She's not going any for now but soon" my mom glared at him "She's not getting married or into any relationship unless I know that Teng fei guy is good" in the next century for sure.

"Dad I'm not a kid anymore, I want my own family and live my life" I said "You can darling just don't worry about your father he's just being an idiot" my mom rolled her eyes "Just always remember we're here to guide you in every situation, ok?" I nod "We're gonna go now" she said before dragging Dad out with her. I guess this is what love feels like.
