STAY WITH ME!

When my brother-in-law throws wine at me, I know that Junno deserves it more, but I'm not him. I lower my head to avoid crying, it's always been like this since I was a kid, always a softy. Anything and I'm already crying, unlike my brother who has always been stricter with his emotions.

Jonathan takes me to the room, suggesting that I take a shower to clean off all the wine that's on my body. I don't know how many times I'm going to enter this bathroom, but I do know one thing - this bathroom is amazing! I take my shower and when I come out, I start drying my hair. I hate blow dryers, they give me a headache so I don't use them.

Jonathan notices that my hair is wet and asks why, not realizing that I unintentionally gave away personal information. I tell him that I don't like using blow dryers because they give me a headache.

To prevent him from noticing my mistake, I quickly change the subject of our conversation. He comes closer to me and I move backwards until I'm leaning against the wall. He sniffs me all over, and I feel his warm breath on my face, a mixture of mint and wine or something like that. I feel something different in my body, something that demands to be touched by this alpha. But I can't! My mind and my heart are separate.

Jonathan squeezes me in a way that makes me feel his large presence between my legs. I push him away, but he persists until he finally kisses me. I pull away, because even though I may be in my brother's place, he is my brother-in-law, married to Junno. Not to mention that the person he would be sleeping with would be me, not my brother - the person he loves, not me.

"It's not fair, not for me and not for him. I'm a human being and I have feelings!" I protest.

He looks at me, gripping me by the waist, and says, with a furious look in his eyes, "I know you want more than this." I move away from him and he gives up. He sniffs me again, making me fear being discovered. An alpha can simply know the smell of each omega, especially if they are bonded to each other.

He says something that scares me, and in my mind, I repeat over and over again, I can't be discovered, I can't be, I can't be discovered, I can't be discovered!

JONATHAN

"This smell... it's different from the usual. If the pheromone is different, this scent... but why the hell did you put on perfume?"

When he says that, I quickly grab the perfume that Junno instructed me to use, as it is made from the substance of his pheromones.

"Junno, why does your pheromone scent smell different?"

JAIME

"Um... well, I can't explain it. It might be some kind of weather change, but it's normal. Look, you can smell it. I put on perfume because it's a habit, I don't like feeling stinky. That's why I went to get the perfume!"

Jonathan approaches me and says, "Do you really think I'm going to believe that? And what about my rights as your husband? I have the right to be with you, to love you, to kiss you. I'm your mate! We've been together for 8 years and I've never marked you!"

"Let me do it now, or better yet, when you're in your heat!" he demands.

I get so nervous that I would do anything to get him out of the room, so I tell him that when I'm in my heat, I'll let him mark me. Of course, I would never actually allow it, but it's a chance to get him out of this room sooner. I'll buy some time until that moment comes.

JAIME

"Well, I'm sick with a cold. I can't be kissing you all the time like this, you know? I promise that when I get better, we'll be back to normal. We can't have any kind of relationship right now. Do you understand? I've been a bit stressed lately."

JONATHAN

"Do you think you can fool me? Are you interested in someone else? How long has it been since we made love? Is this how you love me?"

Jonathan spoke angrily and performed an act that scared Jaime. He punched the wall, causing himself to bleed. Jaime quickly ran and asked one of the servants to bring the first aid kits.

Jaime: "Gosh, you're crazy. Sit down and I'll bandage your hand!"

The maid brought the kit and Jaime carefully tended to Jonathan's wound. As he applied the alcohol and iodine, Jonathan winced in pain. Jaime leaned in and blew on the area, astonishing Jonathan. He then got up and left the room, seemingly lost in his thoughts and confused.

He returned and said, "I'm leaving. Don't wait up for me, I don't know when I'll be back."

Jaime: "Well, I have nothing to do with it, but he's a married Alpha. What the hell is he going to do at this hour? Is he meeting with other men? Oh my God!"

Jonathan waited for a response from Jaime, who was lost in his thoughts.

"Hey! Did you hear me? Don't wait up for me, I'll be back later."

Jaime: "Okay..."

I have to tell him something more or else he'll suspect something, but what the hell is he going to do out at this hour? Is he going to cheat on me with other men? Ahh, I don't care what he does.

"Where are you going? And isn't it too late for you to be going out now?"

Jonathan: "I don't need your permission. I'm going to the bar to have a drink and clear my mind. Mom, can I stay here with you?"

"Whatever!"

As Jonathan is about to leave, Jaime hangs his head in shame for what he's about to do. He lets his bathrobe fall and stands naked in front of his husband, or rather, his brother's husband.

Jaime: "Stay...with me, Jonathan... ⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄-⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄"
