first night

Jungkook's POV:

Finally, after taking a warm bath, removing the exhaustion of the day. I look at myself in the mirror, I dry my hair and my eyes fall on the wedding ring, smiling to myself I continued to preen.

Jimin is using the guest room washroom. We both were so awkward looking at the bedroom, it's work by my cousins.

I ruffle my hair walking out of the bathroom to the bedroom.

There were rose petals on the bed, with scented candles around the room, the fragrance enveloping the space. I took my phone from the table and sat on the bench, which is kept in front of the bed.

I saw many notifications from all the friends and well-wishers. I smiled, keeping the towel aside to dry and scroll through the messages.

*ding*

It was Taehyung, as always he knows when I'll be online.

Taehyung:

Ooi, how are things going on?

^^^What things?^^^

Taehyung:

Well...the things happen on the first night and don't act innocent bean, who doesn't know what I mean.

Taehyung:

I'm just warning you because you are my friend. Make sure to use protection although I would love to have a cute nephew with me.

Aish! Everyone will have this friend in life, who will say anything without boundaries and dance around as if he is the innocent Angel from heaven.

Ok fine! Keeping those things aside. I heard that you and Jimin have your own house, which Jimin made for you.

^^^Yeah! He made this house long back. That's what he said.^^^

Taehyung:

No! He made it keeping in mind your priorities. I shouldn't have said this but you.are.an.idiot. He asked me about your likes and dislikes and me being your best friend, told him. 😝

Writer's POV:

Jimin couldn't contain his smile while washing his hair, he was going back when he held Jungkook and kissed him, Jimin's cheeks painted with a blush.

He has always wanted someone in his life, someone who will be there for him, his parents are there but, he wanted someone special in his life, who would cuddle him and take care of him, cherishes and love him.

Although, he doesn't know what Jungkook thinks of him. He doesn't know whether Jungkook will be comfortable with sharing the bed or he should sleep in the guest room. Honestly, he wants to admire his husband before closing his eyes and wake up seeing his angel.

He wants to do all the things, and express how precious his Angel is to him. For that, he needs to give time to Jungkook. Suddenly, leaving his comfort zone and accepting the changes around him will not be easy and Jimin will be an understanding husband. He will try his best not to make Jungkook uncomfortable.

Jimin ruffled his hair and stepped out of the guest room to check on Jungkook. He needs to ask Jungkook whether he wants to eat anything moreover, he needs to make sure Jungkook to be not sad anymore, no matter what the reason or problem be, Jimin will face it first.

Jimin stood in front of the room, don't know what to do. Should he knock first or just walk in after all it's their home. Jimin wanted to knock doesn't want to barge in and startle the younger. But, he thought to twist the knob and peeking inside and change the decor. The things around the room were romantic and he didn't get the power to confront Jungkook.

"I think, I should—" Jimin opens the door wide mumbling to himself but pauses seeing the angel in front of him.

Jungkook had worn a white almost see-through shirt with shorts. He was sitting on the bench, tapping on his phone and smiling. His parted hair looks a little damped hiding his eyes. Jungkook had his legs crossed and resting his hand on his knee, what a pose...Jimin gulps, internally slapping his face 300 times to remove unwanted thoughts.

Jungkook looks up and smiles, keeping his phone aside, "Hubby..."  Jimin's processor has stopped functioning. Jungkook stood up walking towards Jimin and his every curve his showing.

"Let me dry your hair," Jungkook said taking the towel from Jimin and keeps it on top of Jimin's head, ruffling carefully as if massaging the scalp and Jimin felt the peace. Unconsciously Jimin kept his hand on Jungkook's waist, pulling him closer. Jungkook bites his lips, trying to hide his blush and his ears warming up with his heart thumping probably, Jimin is facing the same situation. Jimin closed his eyes and sliding his hand to hold Jungkook's waist securely, feeling the curve.

Jimin opened his eyes, looking at his angel with a strong gaze. Jungkook was trying to focus on his work and he remembers the chat he had with Taehyung just now.

"I have something to give you. " Jungkook said taking Jimin's hand and guiding him to sit in front of a mirror. Jimin didn't ask anything and he was curious as to what his husband has in his mind.

Jungkook left Jimin alone with his thoughts. Jimin took the hairbrush and started to comb it while waiting for him. Jungkook came back in swift with a neat purple covered box having lavender ribbon on it. Jimin gave a confused look to Jungkook, who was nervous about the outcome.

"This is for you..." Jungkook mumbles shoving it in front of Jimin.

"This was not needed," Jimin smiled taking the box not want to upset his angel. Jimin unwrapped the box and opening it slowly. He smiled seeing a beautiful pendant. It was a rectangular tiny box "✉" and Jimin could open it. Jimin looks at Jungkook and opens it. Jimin took the silver note, where...

...Love you...

Was written and smiled seeing it. Jimin caressed the pendant and looks back at his nervous husband.

"I-i thought to buy something for you. " Jungkook mumbles fumbling with his shirt, thinking Jimin didn't like it.

"Would you help me to wear it?" Jimin tilts his head smiling brightly at his angel. Jungkook's face immediately lits up and nods his head vigorously.

Jungkook took the pendant carefully and walks behind Jimin hooking it on his neck and placed a soft kiss on Jimin's nape, letting his lips stay there for a movement. Jimin got immediate goosebumps and looks at Jungkook through the mirror.

"I know, this marriage is arranged and we don't know much about each other. But, this pendant shows what my heart feels for you. " Jungkook loops arms around Jimin's shoulder looking at Jimin through the mirror. Jimin was shocked in a movement but, smiled nevertheless.

"Yeah! I know that too. But, we can learn about each other slowly and understand one another. I never thought I'll have an angel like you with me. " Jimin said holding Jungkook's arm and interlocking their fingers. Jungkook chuckles sitting on the edge of the dressing table.

"You make me feel as if I'm something very important and such. " Jungkook replied looking down hiding the specks of red hue on his cheek. Even though Jimin has called him an angel multiple times, it still makes Jungkook have butterflies in him.

"Yes, you are..." Jimin placed kisses on Jungkook's knuckle caressing the wedding ring.

"You are my angel!" Jimin smiled loving each expression Jungkook shows and the way his ears turn red doesn't go unnoticed by him.

They look at each other with adoration and the romantic setting is not helping either, the fragrance of the candles with Jungkook's intoxicating scent was giving Jimin a lot of trouble. Jungkook was no better, the eyes gazing at him, holding so much emotion and Jungkook sees them, respect, appreciation, importance, love, cherish. It was pulling Jungkook towards Jimin as they both lean ahead glancing at each other lips then eyes.

They closed their eyes and nose touching to another as they nuzzle their nose feeling the touch when Jimin placed his hand on Jungkook's cheek, caressing it. Jungkook opens his eyes looking at Jimin's closed ones and loops his arms around Jimin's neck smiling. They sealed their lips, pouring unconditional love for each other.

Although it's not their first kiss, still it gave an electrifying shock it Jimin. Jungkook's lips were so soft and Jimin was chewing on the bottom lip, enjoying the sweet taste, whereas Jungkook held Jimin's shoulder tightly, this is so new for him. But, he trusts Jiminie and he knows his husband will never hurt him.

Jungkook tries to mimic Jimin's move and does the same to Jimin's upper lip, they giggle and pull back smiling and breathing on each other lips.

"You must be tired," Jimin said,

"You should rest," Jungkook said,

They both said simultaneously and look at each other laughing.

"See...we think same now. " Jungkook said and Jimin nods his head smiling while resting their foreheads.

Jimin took Jungkook in bridal style, walking towards the bed. Jungkook had his head rested on Jimin's shoulder. Jimin places Jungkook carefully on the bed and kissed his forehead.

"Good night," Jimin said pulling the duvet over Jungkook and moves away to sleep in another room doesn't want to make Jungkook uncomfortable. But, Jungkook held Jimin's hand.

"Don't go..." Jungkook's voice was soft and venerable as if doubting his words. He knows what Jimin is thinking and somehow he doesn't want Jimin to go.

"I'm not going anywhere," Jimin smiled and Jungkook gave a delightful smile.

Jimin off the lights and sleeps on the other end of the bed having a foot distance between them. Both of them are looking at the chandelier with the awkwardness between them.

"What is your favorite color?" Jungkook asked turning around and looking at Jimin.

"I like blue and what is your favorite color?" Jimin asked side-facing Jungkook.

"I like red and sometimes black too. " Jungkook replied nodding to himself.

"What is your favorite place on earth?" Jimin asked wanting to know more about his angel.

"Mm...I think I like a peaceful place where nature is beautiful. What about you?" Jungkook replied,

This went on between them for the night. Sometimes chuckling other times smiling while looking at the other. Enjoying each other company with no more awkwardness. This is one of the tiny steps they have taken to strengthen their fate string.
