1. Chapter 1
It was Friday night, the rain was falling heavily and it was cold outside.

Mason! Where are you?

I'm so sorry Hannah! I'm running a little late. I'll be there soon.
They were talking over the phone

(thinking) Why is he always late?
Hannah was waiting in front of a book store, whereby her bestfriend Mason was supposed to pick her up to take her home before the rain fell. And she did not brought an umbrella with her.
While Hannah was waiting for Mason, she heard a strange noise coming from the alley across the street.
Clang! A dumpster fell down and hit the ground.

What is that strange sound?

It sounds like it's coming from the alley across the street.
She then went across the street to check out the strange sound.

Hello! Is someone there?
Whoosh! She fell something just passed by her.
She turned around and there was a cat.

😥 It was just a cat. What are you doing here little guy?
As she began to pet the cat, she suddenly felt a cold chill on her back as if there was something scary standing behind her.
She turned around and there was someone in the shadow. He pushed her against the wall an began to smell her.

What are you doing? Who are you?
Let me go?
He held her strongly against the wall and didn't let go. Hannah was getting weak from the coldness of the rain and the tight grip he had on her. Her eyes began to closed. When he was about to do something to her, suddenly Mason began to call her.

Hannah! Hannah! Where are you?
He then let her go and as she tried to open her eyes, she began to whisper (who are you?) then he suddenly disappeared.
Hannah fainted from the cold for being in rain for too long. Mason found her in the alley passed out.

Hannah are you ok? Hannah! What happened?

I'll take you home.
Mason held her up and took her to his car. Watching from the top of a building the unknown person smiled to himself.
Mason took Hannah home whereby her parents placed her in her room, took off her wet clothes and changed her into dry ones and place a hot towel on her forehead to calm the fever down.

Well she be ok!
(Hannah's parents) She'll be fine! She just needs some rest and she'll be back to herself in know time. Don't worry!

If I had gotten there early maybe this wouldn't have happened.
Don't blame yourself Mason. You got there before anything happened that's all that matters.

Also she could have caught a serious cold if I had gotten there any later.
She has a mild fever, but it will go away by time morning.
