When we sat down at the table I could feel a heavy presence of hurt I didn’t like it. I simply say and crossed my legs with my back straight so I didn’t seem vulnerable in any sorta way.

“Now? What would you like to discuss? You called me here for work and I expect to talk business.” I sternly stated.

He just chuckled and did that grin he always did. That grin!! I hated it so much because I loved it. That grin always made me want him. The grin attracted me more and more and mo- what am I thinking?! I don’t think he’s gonna say anything he’s always like that!! He wants people to say stuff for him. I should have never have trust him he just wants to get into my pants!! That’s Charles for you! A cold stone lying bastard.

I smugly broke the silence by saying “ what’s wrong? Cat got your tongue?”

I thought he would reply but he just looked at me grinning. I don’t understand him why would he want me now?

“You look nice today Angie.”

He broke the silence by saying that. I knew I was already blushing and it pissed me off that I was.

“ I said business only.”

“So what? A little fun on the side isn’t that bad.”

On the side?!? What the hell? I don’t care how rich he is but he will not address me like that!! I stared at him for a good minute then grabbed my phone and got a taxi to come pick me up. I got up from my chair then left without saying anything.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed the Chen estate company.

“Hello?” A voice answers.

“ This is Charles lan the owner of the m.t.l company.”

“Oh!! Mr. lan how can I assist you??” The lady said eagerly.

“I’d like to buy apartment sets b and c.” I told her.

“Yes sir. Any thing else?”

“Yes actually set an eviction notice for the lady in apartment 102b.”

“Ok your all set! I will let my manager know!”

“Tell him to meet me this Thursday at 4pm. I will email you anymore information.”

“Ok have a wonder full day!”

I put my phone down and sighed. I had to mentally prepare my self for the head ache of my life even though I needed to to this. I needed her back. I can’t just admit it like that she would definitely turn me down. I was deep in though until I heard a very feminine voice.

“Mr. lan!! What a coincidence!! I’m very very glad to see you!” She said.

“I’m not in the mood Ana.” I quickly said back.

I didn’t want any one. Not now at least. I couldn’t want anyone and everyone right now. It didn’t feel right.

“Mr lan I’ll make you feel better.” Ana persistently said smiling and rolling her eyes.

I eventually got up and left. I walked into my office to be greeted by my beta he had

I got out of the taxi and started walking to my apartment. I fumbled around for my keys for a good minute before seeing there was a paper on my door. I got inside and started reading. “Eviction notice for apartment 102b. Must vacate within 24 hours brining only important items. Moving vans will not be aloud on the premises nor will be provided.” I had my hand over my mouth in shock. I felt my face heat in anger as I teared up. The only word I could think was.
