The first dream

Sun kissed blossoms fell from the tree at the moon light washed the air around me. I looked up to see a man I couldn’t see his eyes though I was enchanted by his face. We came closer and closer to each other. His lips teased mine.

It took me about a second to realize that I was crying. Why was I crying? I couldn’t tell if I was happy or not it frustrated me. As I leaned in to kiss him I was lost in thought, but then everything faded away all I could see was my roof. My roof!! It was a dream.

Thank god it was a dream. As I yawned I jumped out of bed grabbing a towel. When I reached my bathroom I turned on the shower and slipped off my night gown. I looked at my self in the mirror slightly admiring the figure I saw.

I got in the shower and ran the soap across my skin lost in thought. Who was he, and does he mean something to me? Those thoughts cycled through my mind as I grabbed my shampoo bottle and washed my hair. When I finished showering I tied the towel around me and started blow drying my hair and styling it aswell as doing my makeup.

After I slipped on a pencil skirt and a white collared shirt for my job interview today. I grabbed my wallet and stuffed it in my purse with my phone charger as I grabbed my heels and slipped them on. Then I called a taxi which came about 15 minutes later.

I got out of the taxi after about a 30 minute drive at the yhen business building. I slowly admired the building until a lady said to me “can I help you?”.

“Yes, I am here for a job interview.” I replied.

“Your 16 minutes late better hurry he doesn’t like waiting” she said strictly.

Damn I was 16 minutes late. I hurried to the office and gently knocked on the door. I quietly walked in and and stood until I heard a voice say, “you may have a seat Angela”. I stood in shock because he said it like he knew me well and because I knew that voice.

As the chair turned around I could feel the color draining from my face. It was Charles my ex-boyfriend. Then he looked at me knowing of the fact I was already uncomfortable being there. He grinned and let out a soft chuckle. We stared at each other for a good five minutes before I went to say something and he interrupted.

“What job are you applying for?”

“I was applying for a desktop position sir.” I said as calmly as possible.

“Sir? What is this a game?” He said trying to annoy me.

“No this is not a game. Look I’m sorry I troubled you I don’t need this position that badly good bye” I sternly stated.

I got my self into a hell hole I would have to clime out of and I regretted it.
