My new enemy

I woke up by 5.45a.m. I stretched and yawned before I fell off my bed. Actually, I forgot I wasn't at home anymore so thinking I was getting off my king sized bed at home, I fell all the way down from my bed. "Are you all right?" Reneè asked as she offered her hand to help me up then the reality dawned on me, I was about a three hours drive away from home. "Yeah" I said as I took her hand to help me up. "You're not ready, yet?" She asked as soon as she noticed I was still in pajamas. "Ready for what?" I asked, "morning prayers! It starts in..." she checked her watch, "twelve minutes to get ready, go!" She said as she grabbed my bath robe and towel and gave to me. "Mrs. Monty won't spare you if you're late" she said as I rushed into the bathroom.

"She isn't ready?" Kayla asked Reneè. "It's not her fault, she's new here" Reneè replied. "Well, she better hurry, I heard Mrs. Monty was awake" Kayla said before she stepped out of the room while Reneè helped me set out my uniform. Ten minutes later, I stepped out from the bathroom and I saw my uniform already set out on my bed, I quickly guessed it was my sweet bunkmate. I went to my closet, got out my undergarments and put them on before I applied my cosmetics

MEANWHILE IN THE CHAPEL

everyone was talking until Mrs. Monty came, her cold presence caused a total silence. "Where's Clara?" Kayla whispered to Reneè who was in the seat beside her. "Oh My God, she's late, let's pray Mrs. Monty doesn't notice" Reneè immediately said before Mrs. Monty asked, "whose seat is that?" She asked as she pointed at my empty seat. "Oh no!" Reneè whispered. "You, who seats there?" She asked as she pointed at the girl behind my seat, "the new student ma'am" the girl said in fear after she stood up. After that, Mrs. Monty left the chapel. "Clara is in trouble, we better warn her" Reneè said in a worried tone, "I already sent her a text, let's pray she sees it" Kayla said tapping the send button.

BACK TO ME

I was sitting at the dressing mirror doing my make-up when I received Kayla's text, I picked up my phone and looked at it ' run! Mrs. Monty is coming😨' "who's Mrs. Monty?" I thought but just as I was about to get back to my makeup, my question was answered, it turns out that it was grumpy lady. She opened the door when I was just half way done with my makeup, then I saw her in the mirror standing and staring at me with those grumpy eyes, obviously it was scary, I had to react so I jumped up and shrieked and found her standing behind me. "You are six minutes late for the morning prayers" she said in her old, haggard voice. "Go for the prayers now!" She commanded, "yes ma'am" I said as I picked up my phone and bag then I left for the chapel but as I was going, " come and meet me after the prayer for your punishment" her voice sounded from beside me before I left. As if I wasn't punished enough, when I stepped into the chapel, everyone started laughing at me because of my unfinished makeup. "That woman is a major enemy, I'll never forgive her for this" I thought as I walked to my seat. "What happened?" Reneè asked me with a concerned tone. "Long story, but I have a new enemy" I said as I gave grumpy lady, the I hate you look when she entered.
