How I met Tyler

A few hours later, we arrived at the school gate. The security guard woke up from his sleep after the driver horned relentlessly then came to open the gates for us. I'm pretty sure that when he was driving in, the driver gave the guard a "this isn't over" look. When I came down from the car, I gasped in amazement because this was the first time I had ever seen a school this big or any school at all. The school was bigger than three castles(I might be exaggerating a bit). It's walls were obviously made from white marble and it had purple roofs. I saw students walking around in some sort of blue and white uniform(shirts are white, pants or skirts are ocean blue) with luggages, boxes and so many other things. "Clara, I think we should go there" mom said, pointing at a line in front of a desk and seat. "Ok mom" I said while I turned my head to look at the line. The driver got my things out of the car, my brothers wanted to come with but mom said they should stay because she couldn't even think of losing two five years old in a big school like this so they waited in the car while the driver brought the stuff down. It was a really long line so I had to wait with mom for so long. Finally, it was our turn. There was a grumpy old lady who sat at the desk. She didn't look a day over hundred. She obviously had a lot of white hair, hazel brown eyes, a dark skin and wrinkles all over her face. "Young miss, please what's your name?" She asked with her haggard voice. "Clara Bradshaw" I replied with a little bit of fear. "Ah, you're the new student" she said still looking at what seemed to be a student's register. "Don't worry madam, she's in good hands" she assured my mom. "Yes" mum replied trying her best not to look scared of the grumpy lady. After that grumpy lady handed us a map of the school, a schedule and the code of conduct. She also gave us a bag which contained my school wears. Then we left and the boy after us came up next. I don't know why but I had this urge to turn around and I did then my eyes met the boy's and he winked at me before he turned back to grumpy pants. After that, my mind was all like "why did he just wink? does he like me? Is there something on my face? " before my mom finally snapped me back to reality.

It was finally time for mom and the boys to go. "Well, it's time for us to go" mom said, "yeah" I said trying my best to hold back my tears. Jason and Jaden suddenly came down from the car and came to hug me, "we'll miss you, Clara" they chorused in tears. With that, I couldn't hold the tears back anymore, I squatted down and hugged them so tightly like I would never see them again and they did same. Then I escorted them to the car. "Goodbye Clara" mom said trying to hold back her tears, I didn't think twice before I leaned in for a tight hug and mom did same then she kissed me on my forehead before she entered the car. I was able to give them a goodbye wave while they were driving out the gates.

Then I broke down into tears after they left then I felt a hand on my shoulder and I heard a voice say "don't cry, they're not gone forever" and I looked up and saw that same boy with black hair, crystal blue eyes and a light skin. "You..." I said trying to dry my tears. "I'm Tyler and you're?" He asked raising me up to my feet. "Clara" I replied sadly. "Beautiful name you have there"he said. "Thank you" I said blushing a bit. "You must be new here, do you know you way to the hostel"he asked, still smiling "no, but I have a map so I think I can find my way" I replied bringing the map out of my pocket. "Forget the map, let me give you a proper tour of our great school" he said after snatching the map from my hands a and stuffing it in his pocket. "Shall we?" he said with a really good british accent. I giggled a little then replied with my not so good British accent "yes, we shall" then we left for our tour.
