Interview with Ben and Mal
Hiiiiiii! So this episode is going to be more like an interview with both Mal and Ben.

So, Let's start with your names!
Mal
I'm Mal Okumura or in Japan more like Okumura Mal.
Author
Your names don't seem really Japanese. So, what's the origin of them.
Ben
We used to live in America. But, we moved with father ten years ago.
Mal
But, both of us were born in America, and because mother is actually an American she gave us these names.
Author
So, is your father a pro hero too?
Ben
He's just the owner of a restaurant that soon became popular.
Ben
Sadly, sis didn't inherit from him the ability to cook.
Mal
Hey! Right back at you. You're like the second worst cook ever!
Ben
At least, I'm not the worst ever!
Author
Well, what about your mother?
Ben
She divorced father 10 years ago. That's why, he went back to his hometown bringing us with him.
Mal
Yup, she didn't even call or come visit us on our birthdays.
Mal
That was so irresponsible from her.
Author
Okay, What about your quirks?
Mal
Mine is called elements. I can control the four basic elements around me.
Ben
hehehe... you can say that but, it's much cooler.
Ben
Mine is mind control. Being able to move things and people when I concentrate hard enough. besides, I can read someone's mind or see their memories or being able to put illusions in his mind making him think they are real. Sometimes It could turn to control their thinking making it look like brainwashing them.
Ben
And I can use my mind as map to feel presences of people.
Mal
Blue in all its shades, green and orange.
Mal
Yeah, living in the black and white world, bro?
Ben
I'm just being classic.
Ben
Something you don't know about, sis.

So, A sibling question.
Author
Who's the one getting you in troubles and who's the one that gets you out of it.
Mal
Okay, you'll be shocked by the answer.
Ben
I'm the one that get us both in trouble.
Mal
And guess who's the savior.
Ben
hahhahha... It's me too.
Author
And I thought you were the older and mature brother.
Mal
I like reading books, swimming, listening to music, of course going for ice cream started becoming a hobby.
Ben
Solving problems and cases, sometimes Mal joins me. Teasing Mal, playing video games with Keigo.
Author
KEIGO! you mean Keigo Keigo, Hawks, top hero number two, Sweet attractive baby silly with that sunny smile?
Ben
Great! Another fan of him. And I thought my sister was too much.
Ben
Anyway, yes. Even though we didn't go to the same schools and such thing. We crossed paths in a case.
Ben
At first, we were rivals and competitive about it, then in another mission we had to work together. And after many times over and over again we became friends.
Mal
He's nice, maybe you were really a jerk to him at first before.
Ben
Of course, you'll side with him.
Author
Okay, this is a question for Mal.
Author
How were you like when you first entered UA and class 1-A?
Mal
I was really different. I never thought I'd have friends because I always thought I didn't need them since elementary and middle school.
Mal
I'm actually surprised at myself.
Ben
I would say me too, but no. I knew you were going to find friends that will change you in a good way.
Mal
Well, you could say I had Bakugo's temper. just without the swearing part.
Mal
Always refused Kaminari asking me to hang out with him.
Mal
Ignored pretty much a few rules. But, for the greater good.
Ben
Yes, I'm still not forgetting the part when you lied to us and sneaked off on your own to save Bakugo Katsuki with other kids when you were supposed to be asleep and leave that job to me and the other heroes.
Ben
And the problem was you stubbornly thought you could win against All for One with All might.
Mal
I didn't. There was just a woman that needed saving.
Ben
You were almost going to be killed that night. You really gave me a heart attack.
Mal
Yes and I got a two hours lecture from you, then another one from Dad, then from Aizawa-sensei and All might, and the other heroes.
Mal
Besides, being punished and tortured of not having my phone, staying in my room for a week, almost being dropped from UA.
Mal
And Worse having to cook for myself.
Ben
Well the last one didn't stick that long.
Author
Okay, Ben do you really have a girlfriend? and if not are you interested in someone?
Mal
Heyy! How could you betray your only first and true love.
Mal
Your hero work and going outside being a pro hero.
Ben
Well, I love the thrill of my job thank you very much. No one could make me get excited as much as Keigo offering me to partner up with him.
Mal
And Mina thinks that I'm the hopeless romantic.
Author
If both of you didn't dream to become pro heroes what would you like to become?
Mal
I change my mind, a detective too.
Author
Ben, when did you become a pro hero and how?
Ben
At the age of 18, I officially started being shown to the police and the other pro heroes.
Ben
At a young age, There was a man that thought with my intellectual I could become a hero in a shorter time, saying I was smarter than the normal genius. He mentored me and just like that I was entered in an entrance exam and got my license.
Author
So, Mal do you consider anyone a rival to you?
Mal
Yes, a friendly rivalry with some of my class. Even though they don't sound like it. But, they could become so motivating that makes me want to be stronger.
Author
Okay, if you have the choice to be able to bring your mother back in your life now, would you?
Mal
She chose the divorce, She was an adult when she chose to, she didn't really make any effort to show that she wanted be involved with us, So, Why? Besides, we're happy just the way we are. So why should we bring more Drama to the family?
Ben
Mal and Father miss her sometimes too much, When Mal was younger she was always upset asking where Mom was and why she didn't come with us to Japan.
Ben
Mal might seem like she doesn't want her back but she used to. She only had good memories about her. So it was heartbreaking seeing her breaking herself over it.
