A Normal Day

‘Give me back my bicycle’ Zenny yelled at John, even though he was petrified with fear. The loud kerfuffle attracted a huge crowd. John noticed that the crowd was staring at him,and so he returned the bicycle to Zenny reluctantly. Johnny said ‘ you are just lucky today.’ He pat at Zenny’s shoulder and grinned at him. Zenny took back his bicycle and rode to school as fast as he could. He make his way along the bustling city and he eventually reached school. When he reached school, Mr Kang,the school principle was starring at him. Zenny was trembling with fear. Mr Kang said in a calm voice ‘ follow me to the office dear.’ Zenny followed Mr Kang behind with a sour face, as he knew that he was going to be punished for coming late to school. Mr Kang lectured Zenny and assigned him a 20 page long essay with minimal word of 20,000. The title is ‘Why I should not be late for school’ Zenny grumbled. He walked sluggishly on his way to the class room, he stared at his digital watch, it shows ‘10:54AM’. It’s nearly noon he said. The class was having boring chemistry lesson. As soon as Zenny stepped into the classroom, Mr James shouted with a firm voice. ‘Zenny, come and answer the question on the board.’ The rest of the class burst into laughter.

Zenny wrote the answer unenthusiastically and returned to his seat. Mr James procced with boring chemical equations and explanations.The clock was ticking fast,and before he knew it, it was already breaktime. Coincidentally, John returned to the classroom full of sweat and anger. He leaped across several tables and attempted to punch Zenny but failed. John laid a second punch and hit Zenny on the face, causing Zenny to back off, John charged forward aggressively.However,he tripped on a banana skin.Zenny took opportunity of his fall. He quickly grab his Yuzu bun and ran to the canteen. John stood up angrily and bashed on the wooden table like a barbarian. He shouted ‘ Impudent Punk’

Zenny sat down on a spring bench solitarily and munched on his bun. He then began to think back about yesterday’s incident and wonder if it was just a dream. After another 2 hours of arduous lesson,school was finally over. Zenny took his bag and walked out of the school with a bunch of joyful students. As Zenny was deep in his thoughts, he did not know that John was right in front of him and had accidentally bumped onto him. John clenched his fist and was about to hit Zenny. Fortunately,the school guard was looking at him like a hawk.John quickly withdraw his fist and walked away with dissatisfaction. Once again, Zenny Cycled across the bustling city and returned to his apartment. It was a normal and depressing day for Zenny.
