Permission

She wakes up and gives off a loud scream, "THEO, MOM". Immediately her father ran to her room and asked, "Tesa, what happened? is something wrong?". The moemnt she saw her father, she couldn't help but cling into his arms and then she told him, "Dad, I'm sorry for my attitude and mannerism these past months. I've been selfish.".

The Marquis then answered, "My darling Tesa, just like you I was extremely depressed about your brother's death. I understand your pain so I am not angry about your behavior. Instead, I am also sorry for letting you go through all this. I wasn't there when both of you needed me the most, please forgive me".

She told him, "Dad, thank you. Thank you for doing your best to make me smile despite me being so indifferent. You're the best father I could ask for. I love you dad."

He replies with teary eyes, "I love you too, my darling Tesa".

It seemed to everyone that Tesa got back her cheerful and outgoing personality. The housekeepers were relieved to know that their apple of the eye was happy again but as the days gone through she gotten some news from her maids.

A maid told her that a gag order on the young master's death was ordered to the emtire household and no one in the kingdom knew about the death of the heir to the House of Frederick. Tesa seemed curious why such action was done so she planned to ask her father during dinner.

Before dinner, Tesa did some research on NorthEnd Academy and gather information about everything she's seen in the distorted memories. It appeared that NorthEnd Academy is the most prestigious school in the kingdom, renowned for its professors, alumni and teaching methods.

It was stated in a book that NorthEnd Academy was a school only royals and nobility can enter but now there is a chance for commoners to enter if they pass the selection process.

Tesa then gathered information on Vincent Clinton, the only person in the distorted memories she could recognize. According to the information she has gathered, Vincent Clinton is the eldest son of Grand Duke Francis Clinton, one of the richest man in the kingdom. The Clinton Family owns most of the kingdoms coal mines and 15% of the businesses in the kingdom is under their name.

With the other people in her dreams, she could not recognize them but instead she wrote down everything she saw in her dream on a notebook. She draws the symbol or crest she saw on the masked men to help her in investigate further about the assailants that night.

As the hours of the clock passes, she finishes her research and heads to the dining room. Upon going to the dining room she passes her brother's old room. The room was barricaded with thick planks of wood and huge nails. She stpped for a while and leaned on the door and whispered, "I will succeed Theodore", then she continues on the way.

As they had dinner, they had a little conversation about their days. Tesa ask Marquis about how work was and she also tells him of her day then just when they almost finished eating Tesa ask,"Dad, why did you notice a gag order on Theo's Death?".The Marquis nearly chokes on his food and then tells her to discuss it in his office.

After dinner Tesa brings her papers about NorthEnd Academy along with her and as she is heading for her father's office she was already finished planning out the entire conversation.

In the office, Marquis Thomas tells her,"Since you were there that night, you must be aware that the assailant you faced were not normal people.".

She nodded and adds,"Indeed, at first they seemed like normal people but just when we turned around they were engulfed in a black smoke and their wounds healed very fast but how does this relate to the gag order?"

"I also did not understand why it was carried out since I was not the one who ordered it but it was the Archmage who did, he said that it was by order of the heavens and that we should do nothing but oblige" he said.

"Since when did the Archmage come?", she asked. "He did not come but he sent a letter and as the gag order was carried out it was mixed in with magic as leverage so before anyone who speaks about Theo's death to anyone outside the household will become mute", he replies.

"At the meantime, no one has became mute since before the gag order was released a test was done to a criminal to make sure it was not riged any further by the Archmage" he added.

"Okay let's change topic since my question has been answered", she suddenly says. "Okay then what topic do you want to talk about?" he asks.

She answers, "It is not a question, its more like a request. It is about the night of the attack, please give me the documents and every bit of information you have about it.".

"My dear, I would glady do so but the documents were taken away by the people of the Archmage but I can try to answer your questions." he replies. She then asks,"What was their cause of death?"

"I overheard the investigators saying it was caused by a blockage in their entire mana flow, the cause is still under investigations since a total blockage rately happens."he replies.

"Oh, is that so then I do have one more request", she added. He quickly replied, "and what is it dear?". "I want to kearn magic"she says proudly.

He asks,"Why magic? Why do you suddenly eish to kearn magic?". "The assailants that night were magic users and I do not want to be ignorant about their power"she replies.

"But in the kingdom, there are only two schools that teach magic, East Magic Tower and the NorthEnd Academy, in which both you cannot enter." he states. "I belive I can enter both. The requirements to enter East Magic Tower is just the acceptance from the board and to enter NorthEnd I am from a family of nobility so I see no problem" she rebuts.

"When you enter East Magic Tower you will have to sign a contract with the school and you will have to remain a wizard and also fullfill the duties of a wizard for the rest of your life, which I cannot allow and I agree that one from a family of nobility can enter Northend Academy but there is just one problem" just when he continues, she says it with him in unison,"it is an all boys school".

"Dear if you knew it was an all boys school, why did you bother asking me if you can go there?" he asked her."You see dad, I think I should use Theo's identity to join. At first I did plan to neglect the idea but I have limited options if I wish to learn magic so I came up with this idea as I heard about the gag order." she answered.

"Posing as Theo? That is not a bad idea but the only problem is when you get caught" he warned her. "I already sent a letter to the school's dean this morning and I think the reply will arrive in Three, two.... ", then there was a knock on the door.

The Marquis asked what was the matter about. The butler said there was an urgent letter from the Dean of NorthEnd Academy. The Marquis then hurried to open the door and get the letter.

As he opened the letter it stated, "Greetings Lady Theresa Frederick, your admission essay was absolutely outstanding, to the point it would be a our lost not to let you attend the most prestigious school in the land. I have also read your plan to pose as your twin brother who chooses not to attend. Although women are not allowed admission, I will allow yours but your identity as a woman must never be known by anyone. From, Dean Peter Maxwell"

"You actually pulled it off?" her father said with great shock. "I would never offer to you a raw plan so please, may I have your permission to enter Northend Academy"she said boldly and then bows at him.
