...Chapter 2...

“Hae Ra…Lee Hae Ra! Aren’t you gonna wake up? Do you really wanna be late for your first day at school?”-Mom started to shout from the kitchen.

I tossed and turned in my bed again not in the mood to get up any sooner. There is still 2 hours left before school starts. Can’t she just wake me after 1 hour? I don’t need these much time to get ready.

“Ya! Do you want me to drop you at the school?”- My brother asked.

I was surprised to hear that. Usually he won’t have time to wait for me as his work starts too early.

“Really? Are you gonna drive me? Don’t you have work today?”-I asked to make sure I didn’t heard it wrong.

“Yeah ofcourse I have work…but, I thought that today I should take a leave and drop you since it’s your first day as a senior”-He said scratching his head. Huh? What am I hearing? Does he have a fever?

“Yaa… get ready and have breakfast”-He said leaving me alone with my thoughts. Ugh…whatever I can’t sleep anymore. I went straight to the bathroom.

I got ready and guess what? There’s still an hour remaining. I went down to kitchen looking for breakfast.

“Maa… what’s for breakfast?”- I called out (just a routine and I know there won’t be any reply) observing the food on the table. Bread, eggs, juice… not bad. I sat down on the chair biting a piece of bread looking around for jinho (brother-2 year’s small). He came down looking good. What? He shouldn't be looking good.

“Jinho, you look like Sloth…”-As soon as I finished those words a hand came down to my head. Ugh! It definitely hurts.

“Maa! I was just telling the truth”-I complained looking at my brother snickering across the table.

“Don’t you start the first thing in the morning!”- My mom shouted. She is so scary when she gets angry so I didn’t argue with her instead I stared at Jinho. He stood from his seat and walked towards me.

“And you look like a pig”- He whispered and ran away before I could call mom. Aish! I will definitely kill him someday.

I saw my brother (older one) coming down getting ready looking cool and handsome as usual.

“Ji hu why did you get ready so early? Didn’t you say that you don’t have any work coz the boss is on a vacation today?”- My mom asked. Ooh…so that’s what it was. Sorry brother you shouldn’t have lied to me.

“Maa, brother said he can go to the blind date you fixed the other day coz he is full free today”- I said smiling to him while he glared at me.

“Jihu ya you should have told me earlier, wait let me call her”-She searched for her phone.

“Maa he is a little shy so he told me to tell you”-I said before my brother could protest and smiled at him showing my full teeth.

I went out and got into his car waiting for him. My brother hates it when my mom set up blind dates for him. Mainly because he only started working half a year ago and he thinks he need to work atleast two years before any commitments. (Actually he is too lazy).

“When are you meeting your girlfriend? - I teased him when he sat on the driving seat.

“Hae Ra yaa… don’t worry I will never forget your help today” – My brother said looking annoyed and pinching my ears hard.

“Aaah! Brother it hurts… sorry, I won’t do that again” –I cried. And a second later he let go of me and drove me to school.
