FORGIVENESS : A STEP TOWARDS MY PEACE
EPISODE ONE
The day started with a very beautiful sunrise. White clouds visible in the blue sky......the spring season was on it's peak.
It was Saturday that meant no school, no college, no studies, just fun
Well here in The Heavens things were opposite today. The office doors were open even on the weekend as well today.
Apparently today was busier than the usual, it was the last day of the month and everyone was busy in their work because today was the evaluation day of the monthly review of all the projects that were executed.
A man in his late forties, raven hair, sharp facial features, with a stern handsome face was sitting on his chair in a straight posture. All immersed in scanning through the documents lined up on his desk.
The voice was deep enough to send shivers
IVAAN STARK
Sir we have a situation here.
Ivan stark, Aiden's right-hand man i.e. His secretary. He's with Aiden from the time when Aiden first started working.
IVAAN STARK
Mr. Sean Willow and his team are leaving for country N this evening.
This caught Aiden's attention.
AIDEN ANDERSON
Weren't they supposed stay for another week here?
IVAAN STARK
They were but due to some personal issues they will be leaving today in evening. Regarding our meeting Mr. Stark has apologized for the sudden cancellation of the meeting, and he has suggested that if you want he is available till four in the evening after that he will be taking off at five.
Hearing this Aiden crossed his hands with his elbows placed on the table and chin resting on his index fingers.
AIDEN ANDERSON
Seems like the problem is really serious otherwise he wouldn't have cancelled such an important meeting.
AIDEN ANDERSON
Are we prepared for the meeting to it to be held today?
IVAAN STARK
Yes sir, these are the prepared documents. The team is on standby as well.
Ivaan placed the documents in front of Aiden. After running through them Aiden said..
AIDEN ANDERSON
Great, inform Mr. Willow's team that after two hours the meeting will be held at the decided venue.
AIDEN ANDERSON
And secretary Stark there is no space for mistakes this deal has already been on it's edge for quite a time now!!!
Aiden was dead serious about this deal, the sudden change of plans wasn't something he was excited about. But the perfectionist he is, is what made him ready for any situation.
IVAAN STARK
Rest assured sir, there will be no margin of error.
With that Ivan bowed slightly and went on his way to get everything done.
After a couple of minutes Aiden's phone vibrated indicating of an incoming call.
He took a glance at the phone and the flashing name brought a smile on his face.
Without wasting any time further, he picked up the call.

Hello.... Is this Mr. Aiden Anderson?
AIDEN ANDERSON
Well, it does seem so, and may I know who this is?
ISLA ANDERSON
This is his daughter Isla Anderson, who along with her brother had an appointment with him today early morning, but he was nowhere to be found.
AIDEN ANDERSON

But there no such thing I see in my schedule today!!!.....are you sure it was today?
ISLA ANDERSON
You broke your promise, how can you do that!?
ISLA ANDERSON
You were supposed to be at home today, especially when you were away for four days on business trip..... After country A your next destination should have been home not Heaven Empire.
Isla was very upset not finding her father at home as promised..... He away from home for a business trip, and she missed him very much.
From her childhood she had always found it difficult to stay away from her father. This wasn't new to her,, but she still hoped that her father would stay with her everyday all along, not that he isn't with her everyday but we'll ignore that for now cause she is angry at her dad!!!
AIDEN ANDERSON
I'm sorry my lovely daughter..... there was some important work left and that is why I had to first appear here otherwise you know I would never break our promise.
These are the one of those few moments or people you'll hear Aiden talking to softly....... His children were his breath, his heart, his soul, his everything. Life wasn't very fair with him when it came to love, but it sure did give him his most precious blessing. A blessing, that he never thought he would have.

Before isla could complete her sentence the phone was snatched away from her by non-other than.....

AIDEN ANDERSON

ISLA ANDERSON
Brother, I was talking!!!!
Isla whined, and tried to snatch the phone back but blame her height she couldn't reach till her brother's hand.
ERICK ANDERSON
Calm down you little squirrel..... Have some patience.
On the other side Aiden could hear his children quarreling with each other.
AIDEN ANDERSON
Alright kids stop now, Erick switch on the speaker. That way both of you can join in together.
ERICK ANDERSON
Wait dad I'm switching to Video call, pick it up.
With a click now all three of them could see each other.
AIDEN ANDERSON
Now that's better!!!
ERICK ANDERSON
How was your business trip dad?
AIDEN ANDERSON
It was good, there was some work still left that's why I had return to Heaven first...
ERICK ANDERSON
When did your flight land then?
AIDEN ANDERSON
Six in the morning
ISLA ANDERSON
Dad we're coming to meet you.
AIDEN ANDERSON
Sorry Isla I won't be in the office, I'm leaving for a meeting in half an hour.
Great!!! Now she's even more upset
AIDEN ANDERSON
I'm really sorry kids, but this is last time after this meeting I'm taking holidays for next three days.
The father was trying to coax his kids especially his younger one, who's eyebrows were now frowning.
He, too, was longing for them but there people who were related, he just couldn't be selfish.
ERICK ANDERSON
Don't worry dad, we understand.
ERICK ANDERSON
Right Isla!?.... Tell dad you're not angry with him.
With that she ran away into the garden, leaving them behind calling for her.
ERICK ANDERSON
Don't worry about her dad, you know her no means yes. This is just her way of showing tantrums.
AIDEN ANDERSON
Hmm... I know, hah!!!....now I can only pray that she doesn't call her grandpa to complain about me....haha
ERICK ANDERSON
no worries I'll remind her about that.
AIDEN ANDERSON
You brat!!!..... I thought we're one team
And they continued their talks and teasing for few more minutes
There was knock on the door and in came secretary Stark
AIDEN ANDERSON
Alright son, I'll see you in the evening then.
ERICK ANDERSON
Hmm... bye dad see you soon.
With the bye, the call ended and Aiden turned towards secretary Stark.
IVAAN STARK
Sir the final check is done, the team will be departing at 11:00am for crystal hills resort
AIDEN ANDERSON
Good, we'll be leaving with them.
Erick came here calling for his sister

finally after some yelling there he found his sister sitting near a fountain playing with the water.
Erick hugged her from behind resting his chin on her head.

Isla said trying to break the hug

Erick was cuddling and cooing his sister trying to cheer her up.

So instead of wasting your time looking at the clock we can go somewhere for outing
This made Isla excited, and she jumped out of his brothers arms.
ERICK ANDERSON
Alright then go and change we'll leave when you're ready.
ISLA ANDERSON
I'll be back soon....you too go and change.
Isla ran away saying that.
