Alone

Time always seems to fly when you are around friends but it can also be considered a bad thing, you while away precious time doing things that won't benefit you and in the end you see that you were wrong, it also can be considered a good thing because you spend time in making friends who are loyal and can stand by you. So if I was to give an advise I would say do the right thing at the right time but in this case, "Keep yourself busy with your friends".

Having been woken up by the bright shine of the sun, Peter stood up and went downstairs to greet his parents. His mom was nicely dressed wearing a pink hat, a silver dress and a glass shoe(what Peter takes the shoe as) and his step-dad was still wearing his pyjamas and having a nice cup of tea. He reached downstairs and took a bow before his parents as he said, "good morning mom and dad". On hearing his voice his mom came close and hugged him as she greeted him back. His dad was seating on a nicely laid chair and wasn't really paying attention to what Peter said rather he was quite interested in the cup of tea he was having. Peter looked up to his mom and she said to him, "Everything will be alright, go take your bath and get ready for school". Peter smiled as she said those words and left in haste, he was always happy to hear his mom's happy voice, she always made sure he was happy and read him bedtime stories, she was like his favorite part of the day.

After he left his mom turned to his dad and frowned, he looked up to her, "what's the problem?". She was reluctant to say anything but managed to say, "you are the problem, Peter looks up to you and you keep giving him less attention, is it because you are not his real dad?". Peter's dad died not long after he was born, he was overjoyed of the news that it was a boy and was over speeding on the road and lost control and rammed into a trailer, he died at the spot. Peter's step-dad wasn't too happy about the statement his mom made and he pushed her to the ground, "Don't tempt me Grace, I really don't like being pushed to the wall". At the moment Peter was just coming from the stairs trying to tuck in his cloths, his mom was already at the car waiting, before leaving he turned and waved, "bye, see you when I come back". His step-dad turned and frowned at him and said in a more sarcastic manner, "I don't feel the same". The words made him feel uneasy but he managed to pull through and smiled as soon as he saw his mom approaching. She asked him what was the problem but he simply refused to say anything instead he showed off a smile and held his mom hands and walked to the car, his mom was mesmerized and said to him, "are you forgetting anything" and he replied, "No, I am well prepared".
