let me explain about academy thing now...

After 15 every high class Nobel and royal goes to academy. It's magic , literature and knight academy . It's up to you for which class you want to apply. one can also take 2 main subject. like magic and Swordsmanship or magic and archery. About literature some subjects are compulsory for all students whether from magic or Swordsmanship.

the academy time period is divided into 6 semester for boys and 5 for girls . If you did well in entrance you can also skip semester but it will be decided by headmaster only.

Derick Eckhart is in 4th semester . Vinter is planning to skip semester. As for Melissa she has no idea about that.

In this world everyone doesn't have magic but there is magic stones. Mostly Royals and Nobel's are born with magic elements . Some have little some have heavy. In empire Girls and boys are treated equally. As per it's founder was a queen . So princess are also candidate of throne.
