Sarah's Knowledge

James fell asleep the moment they arrived in their beds. Kei talks with Sarah, and asks her some questions regarding of what she knows about the Hunting University.

"The Hunting University was founded by the Council of Loderon. Aspiring hunters who want to learn and expand their skills in hunting join that university. As far as I know, there are ranks in there. The higher your rank, the greater the respect of other hunters to you as well as the rewards. Why did you ask? You plan on joining there?" said Sarah.

"James wants to. He told me that if we join there, we can earn enough H-coins, and make our lives more comfortable." Kei replied.

"Ah. But, it's not about the easy life. If you like what you are doing right now, I suggest you should stay that way. I heard that hunters who want to join there are being controlled by the higher ones. I hate to say this, but the truth is, the government doesn't care about us. They only want their own sake."

"Why did you say that?"

"The Supreme World Authority is an abusive and manipulative government. The Enlightened Ones, who control the government, are merciless and manipulative. They are the richest people in the world. I'm a witness of their terrible doings, yet no one dares to go against them anymore. After they nuke the island where the allies of people are camping, everybody fears them by now."

"I see. So this Supreme World Authority is a dangerous and selfish government, huh?" Kei said.

"Be careful. So I suggest, you guys should not join the Hunting University. That's their secret intention why they made the Hunting University, to control everyone." Sarah replied.

"Okay. I will remember what we've talked about now. Anyway, we won't be staying for too long. We have to catch up with our friends at the harbor near here."

"How many are they again?" she asked.

"Four. Mark, Carl, Hannah, and Leo. They are also hunters. It's been 2 years since then. I really missed them."

"2 years? That's too long. I hope you're all gonna be fine once you set out from here. It's a really dangerous world out there. I suggest you guys go to the Whistleton Island to expand your knowledge about this cruel world. Though, not all facts are in there, but there are so many informations in there that can help you."

"Whistleton Island, noted." said Kei.

"You have more questions?"

"What is the nearest city here? We need to find a market so that we can sell the hypolimnion crocodile's parts for profit."

"There is a market in the Sussanna City. I don't know if the market is stable there. It's been years since I went there."

"Thanks. That helps a lot." Kei said.

"Okay then. I will prepare you guys something to eat. What food do you want?"

"Any type of food will do. Thank you."

"Got it. I'm going now, okay? If you need something, just ask."

"Thank you very much." then Sarah went out of the room.

Kei also fell asleep on the bed. They are pretty tired of what they did for today. The Chief began a meeting with his people. "Everybody listen. Now the threat disappeared because of our brave heroes, we have to develop greater, build things faster, and grow taller. We have to build defenses, and train our soldiers for the safety of our valley. I know there's only a hundred of citizens in this valley, but I don't care. Such thing like that will not stop us for our development. We just have to invite others to our humble hamlet, so that we can make this a town." the Chief said.

"But, majesty, how can we do that?" a man asked.

"We have to elect officers that will help me lead the hamlet to its development."

The Citizens don't have a question anymore. An hour later, a messenger riding a horse came to the hamlet. He brought a message saying from the King of Loderon, "As part of the Supreme World Authority, the King of Loderon accepted the diplomatic contract with them that will help small towns or valleys to develop greatly. This is also to maintain the balance between humans and beasts." then leaves the Green Valley to go to another small town. The Chief as well as his citizens are happy about the news.

In the shelter, James woke up. He sees Kei lying on the bed asleep. His shoulders hurt. Then Sarah came in with the meal for them. "Ow, you wake up. You can eat what I've made you guys." Sarah said.

"Thanks. What happened while I'm asleep?" James asked.

"Nothing much. Kei just asked me that you guys want to join the Hunting University?"

"Yeah. What's up with that?"

"This is only my opinion, James. I'm not trying to stop you from joining into that kind of place. I just want to say that the Hunting Society will try to control you, once you join them."

"How did you know about that?"

"That's what the government does. To control everybody. It's their real motive."

"I don't know that. But sorry, it is my dream to join with them. Every government is like that, so that kind of reason will not stop my dream to join the university." James said.

"Well then. It's up to you, but I think, you will need to convince your brother. He is happy in what he is doing now. But anyway, it's your choice. I just hope that you guys will be safe." she said then smiles.

"Thanks. But if something bad like that, don't worry about us. We will defeat them." he said confidently.

"I will come back to the tavern. You guys take your time here."

"Yeah. Thanks for everything, Sarah."

"You're welcome." she said then leaves the room.

After several minutes, James is finish eating the meal. Kei then wakes up from sleeping. "Hey there! Go eat now. We will go to the market after you eat. I will just ask Sarah where can we find a nearby city." James said.

"I already asked. Sussanna City is the nearby city here, she said. Ah James, can you buy me a blade at the shop in this valley?" asked Kei.

"Sure. Wait..." he said then leaves the room. He went to the shop near the tavern to buy two blades. "How much?" James asked. "40 H-coins only. Thank you for buying, sir."

"No problem. Thanks. Do you also sell ropes here?"

"Yeah, we have. How much do you want?"

"I need two ropes, please. Thanks."

The seller takes out the ropes. "Here sir, 20 H-coins only." James gave him the 20 H-coins for the payment, "Thank you. Have a nice day."

"Yeah. To you too, sir." the man said.

James went back to the shelter, and Kei is now finish eating. They get the rewards from the Chief about the basic resources. The Chief gave them a bag of rice, fruits, and clothes. The two young men thank him. The Chief said, "You're welcome here to come back anytime."

Then they set out and travel to the market to sell their items.
