The Loderian Boar

It's now early morning when Kei woke up. James is still sleeping, since he slept late last night because he cuts off the parts of the crocodile so that they can sell it to the market. Now is the day for the Loderian Boar Hunt. Kei gets a boulder, some durable straps to make ropes, and sharp rocks. He crafts a stone knife using the gathered materials. Then he created another one, just in case of emergency. Kei knew that a stone knife will not kill the boar. However, it can still damage its defenses. He took a bath in the lake where they killed the Hypolimnion Crocodile. After that, he also crafted two armors made of barks that he got from the stems or logs.

James woke up; he saw everything is well prepared. He looks out for Kei and they talk. "Kei... woaw! You crafted that armor?" James asked in surprise.

"Yeah. Just to protect ourselves from that beast we will face." said Kei.

James gets the bag and his bow and arrows, "Come on. We need to find that beast as soon as possible."

"Alright, but aren't you gonna cool off first? We're near here to this lake. So why not swim for a while?"

James looks at the lake, "Aren't there no crocodiles anymore?"

"Nope. I already did take a bath."

James nods and says, "Okay then..." he takes off his shirt then swim to the lake. Kei just rests at the side for a while. Then after several minutes, they set out for the Loderian Boar hunt. Finding it is not easy. Of course, they will have to face some monsters first before finding it.

While cutting tall grasses, James says, "Anytime, the monster might show up. Better be prepared at all the times."

"Aye. Do you mind setting traps here?" Kei said.

"We don't know this place. Why would we set a trap?" he questioned.

Then suddenly, a wild beast called Oviraptor, shows up in front of them.

"An Oviraptor! Watch out!" James shouted.

Kei readies his stone knife and attacks the oviraptor. However, it is agile. It dodged his attack. The beast uses its beak to crush Kei, but it fails. James successfully shot an arrow to its neck. It squawks. Then it rushes to James. However, Kei stabs its legs, rendering it to be unable to move fast. The Oviraptor was weakened. James gives it a punch from his left fist, and knocks down the dinosaur to the ground. Though, it is still moving, but it cannot stand anymore.

"*Phew* This monster almost got me." said Kei to James.

"You have a wound? Are you alright?" James said.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Don't worry. This is nothing compared to the deep wounds that we got from other monsters."

"Okay then. Let's get moving."

"Aye..." then Kei hears something fast moving towards them again. "Wait. Something's moving towards us. This might be it. It's quite big."

"Really?" James looks around them; he prepares his arrows and his bow.

"Here it comes!" Kei shouted, and a big wild boar shows up. They managed to dodge its rampage by jumping onto their side.

Kei rushes towards its back to stab it from the back. However, like any other beasts, its back is so tough to be penetrated by just a stone knife. The arrow of James managed to wound the swine. He keeps shooting arrows, but when there are only three arrows remain, he decided to discover its weak spots first. "Kei! Let's look for its weak spots. I have only three arrows left." James shouted.

"Aye." answered Kei as he keeps stabbing its body parts.

He jumps off from the swine, and lifts up a log and crushes it to the Loderian Boar. Its head was damaged after that attack. Kei then lifts up a boulder, then throws it to the beast. The Loderian Boar was stunned after those big attacks.

"I think it's belly is the soft spot! I will try to collapse this beast!" Kei shouted.

He then lifts up another heavy log, and crushes it to the monster. It almost collapse to the ground. Then James also lifts up a log and do the same. The beast collapse to the ground. "So its legs are its weakness. I will break it." Kei said while James shoots his last three arrows to its belly. The Loderian Boar produced high-pitched, piercing cries after that. It hurts their ears. Then it stop crying. Kei tries to break its legs, however, it is still strong that it pushes Kei away.

"Kei, are you alright?" James asked then crushes the legs of the Loderian Boar using the boulder.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. *Sigh* It's too strong. I didn't know that a class D beast could be this strong." said Kei.

"Let it bleed for a while. It can't get up anymore. I broke its legs."

The sound of the Loderian Boar is getting weaker and weaker, till it has no sound anymore. Its legs and tail stop moving. It even shakes its body on the ground. They decided to lift it up back to the Green Valley. When they arrived there, James is really tired. The Chief is so glad to see them come back with the dead body of the Loderian Boar.

"Welcome back, our heroes! We're glad that you guys are alive!" the Chief said.

"It's a tough fight. I didn't know that this Loderian Boar could be that strong. It's the strongest beast we've fought so far. The strongest class D monster, I should say. But James is really tired. I hope we can rest here for a while." Kei said.

"No problem with that. We've prepared foods and drinks and a comfortable shelter for the both of you. Sarah!"

Sarah walks near to them and says, "Yes, Chief."

"Go take them now to the shelter. Give our heroes a good time in our valley."

"No problem with that." then she takes them to the shelter.

"All right everyone! Time for a good celebration! The threat to our valley is now dead because of our brave and strong heroes. We can sell the parts of this beast near the market. Have fun everybody!" the Chief announced.

And so, the people of the valley are now safe and in peace.
