Episode 1: First day of School

First day of school, I'm so excited while walking on my way, feel shy and nervous too. This school was one of the most ranked school in the city, Intelligence and Developing Skills Academy(IDSA). This is the school that my grandpa selected where I would study, and this is where some celebrities or the children of the politicians or the heirs of the known big business companies are studying. When I enter the gate, I was amaze by the surroundings of the school and the building is also big.

"wow! the school is so big and amazing. WOAHHH!!!" I said in my mind. I continue walking until I reach the entrance of the school building.

I'm a new student and it is my first time to study into an academic school 'cause I never go to school I just studied at the private library and hire a tutors. My grandpa don't want me to go in school that time it is because he don't like the lessons and the strategies of the school learnings. He want me to study in advance so that I can go directly to college in a prestigious university just like my other cousins who were became successful. He never let me go until If I turn into 16, he will let me go in school not in the library anymore. So, that's why I never experienced of studying in school since I was a child, and I never experienced to have a friend in school too. My only friend is my stubborn and naughty cousin that is older than me. We were together since childhood and also she studied here in this school.

"Sammy, my darl'!" she called me surprisingly and suddenly hug my back. Other students were looking and staring at us.

"Lely! you startled me", I said and feel embarrass.

So this is she, my beloved cousin Lely Moren, 19 years old a 2nd year collage of Intelligence and Developing Skills Academy (IDSA), her course is I.T. (Information Technology).

Lely was a real big sister to me and she treated me like a real little sister too, even we were just a cousin. Since when we were younger Lely always acted like this, she always teasing me and joking me around. She's so sweet and kind but stubborn and naughty sometimes. She hates when I call her "big sis" because she feels like she's an old lady. She prefers to call her nickname than a "big sis". Even if we are now 16 and 19, we still like a little kids if we were alone together and no one is around. We were just like a cat and a kitten, I always lose of her tricks and trap of her traps but I can also take my revenge.

We have the same hobbies, we like reading manga and watching anime series, we are both otakus. We were competing and arguing of our bias characters and sometimes we were making bets whoever in the two of us will can predict the story or the plot. Lely was more obsessed to an anime than me, she bought pictures or even a pillows that printed of her best anime characters and sometimes she requested me to draw her dream hubby that doesn't exist in this world. She never got a boyfriend because of these imaginary boyfriends of hers and also she is boyish, guys hate her and she hates guys too. Grandpa was worried about her that Lely will never have a husband in the future. I'm so happy when grandpa forced her to go on a blind date but she always refused and sometimes sneaked away. Lely is the only one who always makes me laugh and my only cousin in my whole family and my dearest sisterhood.

"It is your first time in school, Sammy. Are you nervous?" she said.

"Oh... no, no, I'm not..." I answered nervously and sweating heavily.

"Are you sure?... Why are you sweating so heavily?" she said curiously. "Hmmm... You're lying aren't you?"

"Ah?!, hahaha..." I hesitatingly laughed and swiping my sweats. "No I'm not lying...I... I'm telling the truth... haha. It is just because the sun is so hot! haha."

"Really? But today is cloudy Sammy and the sun was covered by the clouds", she said pointing up to the sky and tilt her head.

"Ah... yes that's right"\, *I was caught by the big cat\, poor me*. But I'm still acting being confident. "B...but I don't feel nervous\, anyway." I said lively.

"Hmmm... then stand straight, Sammy!" she slapped my back hardly. It really hurts just like my backbone cracks like a wall. Lely was just humored at me when I'm groaning the pain of my back. She puts her arm over my shoulder, what a boyish Lely! We walk together to the entrance and then separate to the different ways. She go to the senior department and I go to the junior department also. She patted my shoulder before we separated to our own paths, she said, "Good luck for your first day and make some friends, Sammy." And I just nodded at her.

After registering and fill upping some appointments from the office, the school-head escorts me to my department, class B1 grade 11, so that I can know where my classroom is. While we're walking on our way, the school-head ask me suddenly if why I school here.

"Sammy Graner, why do you want to school here?" the school-head suddenly asked. "Why did you chose this school?"

He is the school-head of this school, Mr. Leoffen Agostos, he's the classmate of my grandpa when they were in high school. He is strict and he was the most intelligent in there class, in their time, and the introvert student that always reading a book quietly. My grandpa told me everything before yesterday.

"Pardon me, sir?"

I was surprised a little bit of his sudden question.

"You're the grand-daughter of Mr. Willson Graner, right?" he asked gently and smiled. "Why did you chose to school here?"

"Ah, yes sir. Well, as a home schooler I've always wanted to study in school especially in Arts school. I don't mind if what kind of school as long as I can study and I can experience things. But, I chose this school because it is my dream also to study in an academic school since when I was just a kid. The course that I chose to study is only this school has and also it's not far from home. This is also where my grandpa graduating his high school, so, I chose this school to study to grab my dreams and my goals in life", I answered directly to the point to him and felt a little bit terrified. He still smiling at me and we still continue walking.

"If you wont mind sir, why did you asked me?" I asked him kindly.

" Because I had encountered before some students that are silent, they commonly had a problem situation like forcing to study to a school where their courses decided by their parents that they don't want to. So, I thought you chose this school by forcing because you looked down earlier and quiet since when we were in the office", he said and cross his arms below at his back. And we turn left and pass by the grade 10 room. The teacher greeted him while he's standing near the door when we were passing by. I bowed my head lower to the teacher and he bowed his head slightly too with a smile.

"...I thought that you were forced here to study in this school, so I asked you a question why you chose to school here, so that we could help you", Mr. Agostos continued. "But as I heard you're answer, your are not." he said gladly and glance at me at the back. What a considerate principal, he cares students problems too.

    Actually, I was quiet and felt down that time because I felt nervous while thinking if I could make friends or maybe if they will bully me. I'm scared to be bullied, because mostly students like me who never experienced school were bullied by their fellow classmates or schoolmates. Every time when they get home they always brought bruises from fighting, and in school always struggling then end up fighting. I don't want those also, I want quiet and piece.

That's why Mr. Leoffen Agostos thought that I was down because I was forced by my parents to school here, but it is not. I want to explain this misunderstanding but we already reached my classroom and I think Mr. Agostos already understood of my answer of his question, I think that was enough.

As we arrive, to my classroom class B1 grade 11, Mr. Agostos entered and the students stand up and greet him. I was surprised and I feel more nervous.
