CHAPTER 4

When I got on my mother's place I immediately ring the doorbell. She immediately open the door and hugged me.

"I'm so glad that you come my son" she said

"Get off me" I said emotionless

"Sorry, I just got excited to see you, it's been a long time since we meet." she said irritation filled my head when she said that.

"You'll always see me if you didn't cheat on dad and ruined our family." I said

"Tristan Ralph Johnson! respect me I'm your mother!" she said, and slapped me, "I'm sor--"

"All of my respect to you vanished the very time I learned that you cheated!" I shouted at her in so much anger

"What happened to you? You've change a lot." she asked then I laughed bitterly

"You're asking me why did I change? Why don't you ask yourself first?" I said and she was shocked, "You are the ones who changed me, through your actions, hurtful words and betrayal! see? you have no right to ask me why did I change!" I said out of anger, I'm holding the tears that is about to fall in my eyes, she lost the permission to see my tears and comfort me the very day she betrayed me and our family.

"Son I called you to talk about your marriage with the heiress of the Fang family not to drama" she said like she doesn't mind what I'm feeling at the moment, "Anyways me and your dad sre divorced you are aware of that, but that doesn't change the fact that you are my first born son and my heir, and in order to get that inheritance you must get married to the heiress of the Fangs."

"How can you do that?" I said, and as I say those words a tear escaped my eye

"do what?" after saying those words she looked at me in the eyes, and confusion was written on her eyes and that hurts me cause he doesn't even realize that I'm in pain

I laughed bitterly and looked at her in the eyes "How can you set your son's feeling to talk about nonsense? You are the one who really changed, I miss the old you, I miss the person who will check on me time to time, my mom who knows what I'm feeling in just one look, I did nothing but you changed, why is that?" I said then my eyes burst I don't care whether she sees me like this I just need to let this emotion out

"Tristan I'm sorry" she said while tears are falling from her eyes

"Even a million sorry doesn't change the fact that you betrayed us, I will never be involved in an arrange marriage, and I don't care about the inheritance that I will get from you" after that I left and drove to my penthouse.

~THE NEXT DAY~

I was in the hallway, on my way to the classroom when I saw a familiar figure of a man no- no way - it's him

That wa sthe man who kidnapped Vannellope, I'm very sure of it, but why that man here?

"Hey!" someone shouted

I turn around and look where that voice is coming and I saw Kharl looking at me

"Are you talking to me?" I asked him

"Yes, I'm gonna say this again stay away from Vannellope" he said while looking straight in my eyes

"I'm sure you're also concerned in Vannellope's safety, and that man"-- I pointed at the man that I saw "**Is the man who kidnapped her back in LA"

"How can you be so sure**?" he said like he doesn't believe me

"You are aware that I'm the one who saved her right?" then Kharl nodded "**Well I saw him when he kidnapped Vannellope."

"What? If that's the man who kidnapped her then what is he doing here**?" he asked

"Maybe he's planning to take her again you are her bestfriend and she looks powerful so you should know the reason why" I said

"We need to protect her then,I'll call my friends" he said and call. I'm sure it's yhe three.

~riiiiiiinnnggg~

The bell rang and that indicates that it's time for class so I immediately went inside and sat beside Vannellope

the proffessor came in and for my surprise it's that man, I looked at the direction of the four and kharl look so pale as he see that man

"Hello everybody, My name is Jaydon Samuelson you can call me Professor Jaydon I'm you're new professor as your old professor retired" he said with confidence and the girls in the class was gossiping

"Wow what a handsome professor, what an inspiration to study and go to school everyday" someone said

Idiots, if they only knew this man's doings, but I noticed something, the class was noisy bit his attention was on Vannellope seems like my hunches are true

damn it!

**VANNELLOPE'S POV

"Hello everybody, My name is Jaydon Samuelson you can call me Professor Jaydon I'm you're new professor as your old professor retired**" the professor said

He's handsome, had a beautiful pair of eyes, tall, his muscular body was obvious in the polo he's wearing and kinda familiar

He was looking to me straight and that look is enough to send chills down to my spine

I looked to the side of my bestfriends and I saw how pale Kharl he looks so afraid, why is that? argh never mind

After the discussion I put my things back in my bag

while on my way to the cafeteria, I saw Tristan, Alex, Harvey, Rhianne, and Kharl going upstairs

I got confused so I followed them I saw them on the rooftop, they closed the door so I walk close to the door and lean in so I could hear them

"Hey why are we here and why are we with this man?" it's Rhianne's voice

"Shut up Rhianne" Kharl said to him

"Hey man why do you look pale when the professor walks in?" Alex asked

"That man-" it's tristan's voice "**Was the one---"

"Hey Vannellope**!" a familiar voice shouted I was shocked and stand straight and look who shouted that

"What are you doing here?" she asked I feel like they heard it they stopped talking

"Ah-uhm Samantha it's you! I was going to the roof top to get some fresh air" I forced my self to smile

"Oh what a coincidence, I was also going there because I don't know anyone in the class yet, so I'm eating alone, mind joining me?" I remember that they are in the rooftop and we might disturb them

"Let's just have lunch in the cafeteria, let's go?" I asked

"Okay, let's go" crap I didn't hear what they are talking about
