Tristan's POV

After I sent Vannellope home, I immediately went back to my penthouse, while sitting on the couch I remembered the past

~FLASHBACK~ (back in LA)

"***Promise me you won't leave my side**" she said while her eyes are half open.

"I'll just go back at home to take bath, I'll be back, by the way the nurse will take care of you." I told her then she closed her eyes.

After l got back from my penthouse, I took a shower immediately, while on my way back to the hospital, then my brother called,

"hey bro!" I said

"**come back to the mansion here in L.A"

"but**---" my words are cut off when he hanged up on me so I got worried and forgot about her.

When I got back to mansion, I saw my mom going out the my dad come out of the door--

"you ungrateful woman, don't ever comeback here!"

It hurts that all this time my mom had been cheating on dad, l thought we're already perfect, but I realized there's no such thing as perfection.

I also realized that too much expectation can hurt you when it didn't meet reality.

As I was recalling the past I noticed my phone ringing, it's my dad.

"Hey old man, you called?" yes that's how I call him it may sound disrespectful but he just let me.

"**And why would I do that?"

"We've talked and she doesn't want to continue the thing between the two of you"

"fine**" I said

RHIANNE'S POV

Hi my name is Rhianne Carl Jumaca well I'm half Arabian from my father side, and half American from my mother.

Kharl, Harvey, and Alex were with me while drinking in Alex's bar in our private room, while drinking Kharl spoke,

"We should stop that man from entering Vannellope's heart" he said

"Man? you mean Tristan?" Harvey asked

"**Yes"

"And why should we stop him Kharl Renzel Ricci**?" Alex asked

"Yeah he's right as if she's gonna fall for him, we've known her for too long, she's not gonna fall for someone just close to her" I added

"And that's the reason why she'll never fall to one of us" Alex said and laugh bitterly

"Do we need to apply cold water to the burned area?" Harvey asked and laugh out loud

"Stop it the three of you, you don't understand" Kharl said

"Then tell it, and let us understand the fucking reason why" I angrily shouted at him.

"Hey Rhianne calm down" Alex stopped us before we even argue about this matter

It hurts that your bestfriend seems not to trust you so they hide something, I don't know but that's how I understand what he said to me.

"Guys I overheard what Tristan said to Vannellope" he said "It's in Italian but I understand it" he spoke after Alex stopped me to start an argument with him

"What did he say Kharl?" Alex asked

"He confessed that he's the person from Vannellope's past"

"Which one the hero or the villain?" I asked

"The one who saved her" he shortly answered

"If that's true then he has stronger connection to her, and had a high chance to win her heart" Alex added

"What if he's just lying? Besides Vannellope doesn't understand Italian" Harvey stated

"Think of this Harvey, if he's lying how come he know what happened that time?" Alex told him

"But--" Harvey was going to answer Alex when his word was cut off when Kharl spoke

"He's right, it's true, I even talked to him" he said

"So what are we gonna do now?" I asked them

"We need to take that man out of our way" Alex said

"Yeah if Vannellope is gonna fall in love, we'll make sure it's one of us, so in the end she's not hurt and it's for the benefit of one of us" I added.

"Christmas Season is the start of our plan" Alex said

"No, it's too cold in christmas season, what if before december, we'll recommend to have a camping for our class then perform the bet game, it's a win win situation for us because Vannellope loves outdoor and if Vannellope comes he'll also come" Harvey said

"Perfection"

"Bravo"

"Absolutely"

the three of us told him as he said his excellent plan

"But we should plan this carefully, that man seems to be more powerful than us, we'll be in trouble if caught" I added

"Rhianne's right, it seems that I've heard his name in the business industry" Alex said like he's on my side

"Then let's carefully plan this operation" Kharl said with a smirk on his face.
