Where it started

There was a loud beeping sound coming from under her pillow. It was her phone, feeling annoyed she picked it to see with half lidded eyes.

 "Evan!?” Seeing caller name, she immediately answered the call.

“Selene, I want you to come to this hotel. I am sending you the address and don't be late. I don't have much time.” Without any greeting, he ordered.

“Evan it’s late, I can't come right now.” She glanced at the clock which showed 11: 39 PM, it was almost midnight.

“Okay then I am leaving tomorrow. I don't know when I'll come back. I won't be able to talk to you. I will contact you when I come back.”  He said nonchalantly.

“Evan! Listen to me Evan.” He didn't listen to her and ended the call. She called him and after three four rings, he picked call.

“Evan, what you're saying? Are you going somewhere?

“Selene, I am so busy right now I don't have time.”

“Okay, I am coming but the hotel is so far from my home, it will take me time to reach.” She hopelessly agreed.

“Then you better get up, hurry and don't waste more time.” He said coldly and again ended the call.

Fear of him getting angry, she leaves the bed hurriedly. forgetting the fact that she is having high fever and can't even open her eyes. After much difficulty, she was able to get a cab and reached the hotel he had sent the address to her.

She reached to the hotel. At the reception, she finds that Evan already informed them about her visit. An employee escorted her to the room were Evan was staying.

Entering the room in haste, she finds him busy with his phone. He did not even greet her. Now she was sitting at front of him because he told her to wait.

“Why didn’t you tell me about your trip?  And why can talk to me during that? What kind of trip is that? she inquired in a bit agitated manner. When he finished his call, she herself asked detail about his trip.

He told her that he is going for two months and that made her miss him when was still standing in front of her. She felt sharp pang in her heart because of his detachment.

“It is an urgent business trip. Anyways, you look sleepy, have some coffee or something and be ready. You already ruined my plan of spending this whole night together.” After saying that he got busy on his cell phone again.

Looking at the wrinkles on his forehead, she walked to the bathroom to take a shower. There was no point telling him how hard it was for her to get here.

After taking shower, she didn't put on her pajamas that she was wearing and came out from the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around her. Feeling so sad she sat on bed looking at him who was still busy on his phone. She was watching him without blinking, it was always like that, he was so handsome and captivating that she finds so hard to take her eyes of him, she always thought even Apollo would be no match for him in comparison. She felt tightness in her chest thinking she won't be able to see him for the whole two months.

“You were waiting for me like a good girl.” He noticed her gaze and came to her.

“You are forgetting Selene, a little time ago you didn't even want to meet me.”  When she leans in to kiss him, he didn't let her. He held her hands.

“Evan please……” she was getting frustrated because he wasn't letting her touch him.

“I am sorry Evan, I…..I  won't do it again please.” She beseeched with eyes full of tears.

“Don't ever refuse me.” he commanded.

“I will not.”

He touched her on the mouth slowly, she kissed him back hungrily. He came further into bed she responded eagerly wrapping her arms around him. Just hearing his sweet voice, one look at his breathtakingly beautiful face and she forgot that she was even a little angry with him.

She met this beautiful monster when she was 18. It was a love at first sight or curse, but that moment changed her life. He is the man who enslaved her. It all started that day.

At the entrance of a night club, the guard were not letting her go inside because she was underage. Evan help her, he was also going inside that club. She didn’t know what he said to guards but they let her go inside. Evan bought her a drink. They exchanged numbers that day and it's been a year now.
