When Caroline got off work, she called her chauffeur and went
to Liam’s company like he instructed. When
she arrived at the lobby, she went to the elevator and pressed the button to go
the top floor. She arrived at the floor, walked past the secretary division. She
slightly bowed her head as a way to say hello to Marcus who was sitting at his
desk. Marcus returned the bow. Caroline opened the door and went inside.
Caroline
saw that Liam was busy, so she just took a sit in one of the couches. She took
out her phone and started to play a game. She quietly played the game on her
phone, and went she got bored, she switched games. She got bored again and
decided to look at the stock market. She was about to look at her stocks when
her phone’s battery ran out, she started looking around Liam’s office. “Liam,
why did you make me come here?” Caroline asked.
Without
looking away from his computer Liam replied, “because I need to keep an eye on
you. You troublemaker.” Caroline tried to defend herself, “I’m not a troublemaker!
I did not start that fight. It was Sofia, I just defended myself.” Liam just
exhaled and continued with the email he was typing.
Liam finished what he was doing grabbed
a document and a pen he had on his desk and went to sit next to Caroline. “Sign
this,” said Liam as he handed the document and pen to Caroline. “What is this?”
Caroline asked. “It’s the title deed of the mall.” Caroline’s eyes widened. “You
actually bought the mall? I thought you were only bluffing.” Liam responded, “I
don’t bluff.”
Caroline was so surprised she never
imagined that Liam would give her the deed to the mall. “Liam, you bought the
mall. You can’t just hand it to me,” Caroline spoke as she tried to give Liam
back the document. Liam refused, “I already own a mall here in New York. Take
this as a wedding gift.” Caroline spoke in a low voice, “thank you, Liam, but I
don’t need a mall.” Liam insisted, “even if you don’t sign it, the profit will
still go to you.” Caroline exhaled. “Fine I’ll sign it.” Caroline started to
read the document.
When she finished reading the
document and found nothing wrong with it and signed it. “It took you a while to
sign, got trust issues?” Liam pointed out. Caroline giggled. “In the world we
live in, you never know who wants to **** you over. You can never be too
careful.” Liam did acknowledge she was right, but he did not like the words she
used. “Are you suggesting I want to **** you over?” Caroline looked at him dead
in the eye and said, “I don’t trust anyone. So, yes. I am wary of people. You,
specially. I can’t seem to figure you out.”
“Why would you need to figure me
out?”
“We still have a year to go. I’m
guessing that if I file for divorce, you won’t sign the divorce papers.” Liam
remained silent and took the document and the pen and returned to his desk.
Four minutes later, Caroline stood
up from the couch and went up to Liam. “Do you have a charger? My phone died.”
Liam held out his hand. Caroline handed him her phone. “Also, can I borrow your
phone?” Liam looked at her after plugging in her phone. “Here.” Liam unlocked
his phone and handed it to Caroline.
Caroline sat back on the couch and
started playing the game she had downloaded on his phone. She was enjoying the
game when Liam received a text message. The text message from Rebecca Smith
interrupted Caroline’s game. “Is this the famous superstar, Rebecca Smith?”
Caroline thought as she opened the message.
The conversation opened but it
seemed that all the messages from previous conversations were deleted. The only
text that popped up was the one she just sent saying: “Hey Liam, what are you
doing now?” Caroline decided to reply to the text, “Nothing, what about you?” She
was curious about what kind of relationship they have. “Were they close? How
do they know each other?”
Rebecca sent another text, “I miss
you.” Caroline felt a little jealous at this woman for talking like this to
Liam, but she did not want to blow her cover. Caroline replied to the text, “I
miss you too, babe.” She wanted to know how close she was to Liam without asking
him. Rebecca was confused when she saw Liam’s reply. Caroline’s game was
interrupted once again, but this time by a FaceTime call. Caroline panicked
when she saw that Rebecca was calling.
Caroline ran to Liam, answered the
call. She placed the phone on the desk, in front of him without getting seen by
Rebecca. “Hello? Liam? What’s going on?” Said the woman on the screen. Liam
grabbed the phone on his desk. “Hey, Liam what-.”
Liam hung up the call without
hesitation. Liam angrily looked at Caroline, his green eyes were filled with
rage. “What did you do?’ Liam asked in a serious tone. “Nothing, I was just
playing a game and then she called,” Caroline answered. Liam unlocked his phone
and went to the app switcher to see what Caroline was doing. He saw that the
only apps open were the game she was playing and the message app. He opened the
message app and saw the conversation with Rebecca. He read the text messages Caroline
had sent Rebecca. Though Liam and Rebecca texted occasionally, he was always
cold and distant. That is why Rebecca was surprised by the text.
“What gave you the right to go
through my massages and answer them?” Liam asked. His tone frightened Caroline
a bit, but she refused to show her fear. She must stand her ground. Liam stood
up from the chair and walked closer to her. “Answer me!” Caroline raised her
head and was ready to give him a piece of her mind. She was not going to let
him raise his voice at her. “I was bored and curious. So what? It’s not like
the world will end by some stupid text messages.”
“Curious? Don’t you know that
curiosity killed the cat?” Caroline crossed her arms. “Who is she? What is your
relationship with her anyways?”
“That is not important.” Caroline
rolled her eyes. “I’m done talking to you.” Caroline turned around and began to
walk away. Liam grabbed the back of her neck and turned her around as he
brought her closer to him. He brushed his lips against hers. “I don’t want to
do anything to you, but you just make it so difficult. I just want to punish
you.”
Liam was about to kiss her, but she
moved her head to the side. Liam turned her neck, making her face him again. “My
entire life I’ve had people do everything I wanted. How come you do the exact
opposite?” Liam released his grip on her neck.
Caroline stepped away from him and
said, “I am not your doll. I refuse to do everything you say. Maybe Rebecca
does want to be your doll. Why don’t you go ask her? But I will never become
your doll.” Liam raised his eyebrow. He was about pick her up when she started
to run away.
Caroline speed walked out of the
office. Because she was wearing high heel stilettos, she was not able to run
that fast. Liam was getting angrier and angrier. He chased after her. Caroline
walked past Marcus’ desk and past the secretary division before she reached the
elevator. She got to the elevator and pressed the button four times. She began
to panic when the elevator had not arrived yet. Liam walked towards her; he was
confident that he would get to her before the elevator did.
The elevator door opened, and she went inside.
Caroline pressed the lobby button and desperately pressed the button for the
elevator door to close. The elevator was about to close when Liam stopped it.
He grabbed Caroline and carried her over his left shoulder. Caroline struggled
for him to put her down, but he threatened with dropping her to the floor. “If you
keep moving, I’ll drop you.” Caroline did not listen.
If he dropped her, she would have an
opportunity to get escape. While Caroline struggled, she moved her arms and
legs for Liam to let go of her, but he would not budge. Liam casually walked
back to his office with Caroline over his shoulder.
Liam walked past the secretary
division, past Marcus’ desk, back into his office. The secretaries waited for
the door to close to start gossiping. Liam closed the door and locked it. He
walked over to the couch and threw Caroline on the couch. She tried to get up
from the couch. He grabbed her wrist to stop her from running away. He managed
to take off her blazer and pushed her back on the couch. He got on top of her
to stop her from running away. He took of his waistcoat and his tie threw them on
the coffee table. He unbuttoned the buttons of her blouse revealing her breasts
on a white balconette lace bra. He unbuttoned his shirt and took it off then
threw it on the coffee table.
Caroline did have to admit that she
was kind of attracted to him. His muscular body, his green eyes, his fawn-colored
hair were enough to make any woman droll over him. He removed her heels and pants.
He unbuckled his belt and unzipped his pants. He leaned in to kiss her as he pinned
her wrists together over her head with one hand and with the other, he removed
her white lace panties.
He thrusted two fingers in and out
of her making her lose control of her breathing. He stopped for a second making
her exhale heavily. He smirked at the way she reacted. He started leaving small
kisses on her neck. Then, his kisses became more intense to the point where he
was softly biting down on her skin. He started to ****** his finger inside of
her until she was begging for it. He stopped then thrusted into her.
When they were finished, Liam put
his clothes back on except for his waistcoat and tie and went back to his desk
with a satisfied look on his face. Caroline got up from the couch and put her
clothes back on. She gave Liam an angry look. “He is a beast! An animal! How
could he do such thing?” Caroline cursed him on her mind. Deep down, she enjoyed
herself but… she refused to admit it. After all, she was still mad at him.
Caroline tried cool down a bit, her cheeks were still red and burning hot.
When she went back to normal and
went up to Liam. “Liam, I’m tired. I want to go home.” Liam did not even look
up from his computer screen and said, “we’ll leave soon.” Caroline did not want
to leave with him. She did not even want to go back to the penthouse. She was
still mad at him for forcing her into his office. Caroline answered, “if you are
busy, you can just tell Marcus to drive me home.” Seeing Caroline insist on the
idea he agreed. Liam called Marcus to let him know to go drop Caroline off at
his penthouse. Caroline grabbed her purse and her blazer and left his office.
In the Car, Caroline sat on the
back seat and Marcus drove to the penthouse. On a red light, Caroline spotted a
convenience store. She told Marcus to make a stop at the store. “Marcus… I
don’t feel so well, can we stop at the convenience store?”
“Miss, I can’t stop at the store. Mr.
Sabbatini told me to go straight to his penthouse.” Caroline pleaded, “please Marcus.
I’m not feeling so well. I have a headache and I feel nauseous.” Marcus decided
to stop at the convenience store. “Okay Miss, I will go get you something. You wait
here.” Marcus parked the car and got off. He went inside the convenience store.
Caroline got off the car and sat on the driver’s seat and drove away. As Marcus
saw this, he sprinted out of the store.
