Brain storm! what should I do? Wait! The letter I got, to attend a school field trip! That's perfect. And it's happening at 11:00 today. I'll ask to go. I was considering going for a while, of corse I'm not actually going. I'll be using this as a decoy. I'll need money. I quickly grab the folded up paper from the pocket of my hoodie. I was so lucky I left it there. I signed it and we be to my parents room. Mom wake up I decided to go on the field trip. I said with false glee. It took you long enough to decide. wait till the last minute aren't we. she rubbed her eyes sleepily. she got up slowly, and squinted at me. Ok hand it hear. I gave her the paper, she signed. what time is it? mo. asked it's 6:00. well u better start packing. How long does this trip take again. we are going to Guatemala. I keep that to myself. she digs though her purse and fishes out the entry fee as well as extra. Being a long ways off the fee was pretty high. I felt guilty taking the money. It was about a thousand. I kept that in there hoping u would change u mind. when I was your age I always wanted to go on a trip like this but was never able. she sighed. my heart sank even further and a lump began to fill my throat. I love u mom. so much. I'm going to miss u. I threw my arms around her and let one tear fall. knowing I might not see her again. I packed my bags in a rush. The tears where threatening to spill over my cheeks. The only thought that stopped them was I'm going to see my birth mom. And maybe she can explain to me what I saw last night. My body started to act on its own. I stuffed everything in my bag leaving no trace. I grabbed an orange off the table braking it open in the room. oranges had a sting smell. so it would cover what's left of mine after being in the shower so long. The smell was getting stronger. I threw the orang out of my window as hard as I could. It went pretty far. I head my bag and walk twords the back door. Mom I'm going to call a friend to take me. ok she says fixing breakfast, And just like that I'm gone, and I run.....
