Need more tasks..?

When I finished my daily work, I headed to my favorite place at this castle, the library. I do have of course a lot things to waste my time with but I like to go there to continue my studies, I like to educate myself and keep my mind open, including the knowledge of the latest discovers and news of our kingdom, also the others..

I am inquisitive, studious and surely that is why I have been classed the first at the Royal Academy, which in turn that made me the queen whose married to the king of this kingdom.

In late time of the night, I was still in the library.

Queen Adelaide: hmm- interesting...

I was very into what I was learning until one of my ladies-in-waiting approached me.

"You have to take a rest, you have been at the library for too long-" ,she said anxiously but I interrupted her.

Queen Adelaide: Esmeralda, I am alright.

Esmeralda: but- it is being late and you need to sleep well to preserve your beauty..

Honestly I am concerned with myself, I am not the person who must be blamed. Raised as the only daughter made me spoiled by my parents and even by both of my brother.. Is an obvious reason.

I went back to my chamber, therefore I slept as I putted my head in the pillow.

I have been woken up the next morning by my ladies- in-waiting who were ready to start the journey but I wasn't.

After I had a bath and dressed myself, one of them were brushing my hair and the others were chatting, unless I was withdrawn..

"This necklace is glowing in your neck, so deluxe!", said one of my ladies-in-waiting while she clapped her hand for once.

"yes! can you imagine?! my husband bought it for me, he told that it is so expensive because of its infrequent jewels"

"where is this jewels came from?" ,another lady asked.

They kept chatting and laughing. Although that day it was as usual it felt more tedious..

Or maybe I need more tasks..?

"What should I do to fill out my agenda?" I said to myself in confusion.

The funny part that it is already full but I finished everythink and I was just feeling bored.

"your majesty, there is a letter has been sent from prince Barrett" , said one of my ladies-in-waiting while she was approaching me, carrying a letter.

"My brother! finally! I missed him so much" I said to myself happily.

I took the letter from her exiting to read it, as I sat at my desk I opened the letter carefully.

*Dear Adelaide,

I am writing this letter because I am sure you are feeling bored, and obviously because I am not there to bother you.

I missed you very much, it have been a year since you got married and the castle feels empty without your presence.

I would be greatful if you send me back, do not forget that we promised each other to keep in touch.

I chuckled and grabbed my feather to start writing him back.
