Settled in America

I got down from the flight and waited for my dad's people to come and take me to our penthouse in America. My dad told this penthouse would be the place where I would be staying after getting married and expanding our business in America.

I saw few men in black outfit with my name card. I approached them and when I was going to show my ID proof, I was hugged by someone. It was Nandana and Harsh. Nandy is my classmate-bestfriend. We both have known eachother since long. Harsh is my classmate-brother. I share all my problems with him. We three people were very close. Harsh and Nandy are Working as directors of my dad's company in America. Tomorrow, it's going to become my company officially and I would be their direct superior.

"Been long man! When uncle told you'll be coming here both of us were excited" Harsh told.

"Yeah man! How are you guys? I heard you guys are dating. Since when is this going on?"

Nandy responded" We have been eyeing eachother since high school, just four months ago we started dating and would be getting married this Autumn. That is one month from now!"

"You guys are so quick. Invite me to your wedding." I told. We then left the airport and these two accompanied me to my penthouse. As expected it was furnished beautifully and architecture was amazing. I took the room on the west wing. There are two rooms here and only one room on the east wing. It wasn't so comfortable so, I opted this one.

When Nandy and Harsh left, I went to the Target supermarket and bought daily needs. When was done buying everything, I bought different flavours of condoms. Then I checked out of Target. I reached home and got everything arranged neatly. As for the condoms, I put them in my drawer in the walk-in closet.

Because of the jetlag, I decided to stay home anyway cause tomorrow I have a very important meeting. Dad is going to officially announce me as the ultimate head of Tech-L.

I then filled a bowl with popcorn and started watching movies . Before I could finish it, I fell a sleep in my bed.

At night I got up to fill my refrigerator with water bottles do they could be handy. I then pulled the quilt over me and slept comfortably. I was kinda homesick but I didn't show it on my face. I was more cold now, I could feel it. I stopped being my old self and got more matured. It was already morning. I got showered and went to the kitchen to prepare my breakfast. I had a simple breakfast with just bread and eggs. I missed my mom's cooking. I would eat idly, dosa, roti or even waffles when my mom cooked for me. I missed it. Then I quickly drank my coffee and left for work.
