My Wedding is Decided?

Today is Divi's wedding. All of us were happy and we family members headed to the wedding destination earlier than other. I put on a suit along with my cousin brothers. My female cousins wore saree. They looked so beautiful. Divi left home earlier to go to the parlour. By the time we all reached Divi was already seated in the temple beautifully dressed in red saree.

"Varun! How are you?" I turned back to see my parents. I Went and hugged my mom and shook hands with my dad. "Varun! Meet my friend Mr. Sparsh. He is our business partner and parent of one of Divi's friends. I would like you get to know his daughter and we may proceed with your wedding." dad said. "Sure Mr. Santosh, your son is only twenty three and my daughter is twenty one. She will become twenty two in six months. Then we can get them married" Mr. Sparsh told to dad.

I just awkwardly smiled during their conversation.

I turned back to notice Uttara who had her hands locked with Adi who was dressed in grey suit. Uttara looked beautiful. She wore a dark green silk saree and was dressed in a traditional way with elaborate jewelry and hair was plaited roughy loose with Jasmin flowers on it. "If only she wore a red saree, she would be a beautiful bride" I thought.

She had her hands still on Adi's hand and interacted with the guests.

When Aakash came , the wedding began and at the completion of it, Aakash and Divi went to his house for other rituals in our culture. It had to be done by evening because their wedding night was tonight as decided by the elders.

We others had lunch and left for our respective houses."It was nice meeting you Mr.Sparsh". I said leaving with my parents.

When we got home,"Varun its final your getting married to his daughter. You have no option. At the end of six months, you will have your wedding and I will give Tech-L to you" dad told.

Since I had no choice as well as I had no girlfriend, I accepted my dad's order. My mom was so happy-"Finally your getting married. I can see my grandchildren soon"

"As you wish my queen!" I said.

"Also Varun, you will be working in America for the next six months in our branch there. You can return to India , once the marriage is final and get married immediately."

"Yes dad" I told cause I can never go against him.

"Varun , this marriage is not going to be done because it is profitable to the company. Infact it is done because I genuinely like his daughter. She will be a very good wife "

I then packed my stuffs and decided to go to America immediately because I had nothing to do here. My parents were shocked when I told them I will be going today but they immediately booked a flight and I left to the airport. I boarded the plane. "I'm coming America" was my only thought.
