Chapter 1

This is the fourth time I failed my job interview. Failure is always seeking me. As I scan for more wanted jobs in the net I was getting frustrated more and more as its getting too hard to find a more proper job with a minimum salary. I stand up and walk as look at the window of my rented apartment. It was getting dark just like how my hopes are. My savings are on the verge of being empty. My bank accounts are all frozen and I can't just sleep on the street on the next few months for not getting a job. As well as I can't go back from where I came from. This is freedom away from a toxic environment.

As I decided to change clothes and walk for fresh air outside. Maybe I just need some air to breathe for me to start my day for the next day.

"Alone in this city makes me more comfortable, so I won't regret running away" I said to my self as I walk in the park. It is almost 10pm and people are still crowding in the park.

" Well, why not enjoy my self while I still have freedom" then laugh at the taught of walking inside the bar.

"Afterall this is the first time I'm having a nightlife"

I need a drink to calm my mind from thinking. I want to taste what it feels having this experience.

"One hard drink please." I said and smiled as I sit in the stool.

"One hard drink for a beautiful guest, wait for minute lady" the bartender said as he prepared for my drink. "Here comes your drink, Enjoy the night."

"thank you" i said then sigh, a long one.

"got a problem eh? got dump?" he asked as no one is around and I'm the only one sitting on the stool aside from me. People around are busy dancing nor flirting.

" nah, not at all. Just a hard time seeking for a decent job" I said as I continue drinking my 3rd glass.

"It's really hard for those who are new in the city to find job." he said as he entertain the new customer.

"You're right. I've been here for months no progress at all"

"You're lucky we're inhire for part time waitresses. As you can see it's crowded at peak hours" he said. "By the way I'm matt" as he extend his hand for a shake.

"I'm Cia. Really? great. When can I pass my reśume?" this is great. I can have a job.

"nah! come tomorrow and look for the HR" he said as more customer is coming.

I paid my my bills as I feel dizzy from the couple of drinks that I have. I decided to fix my self in the bathroom before deciding to go home.

"Well indeed it's a lucky night for me. I can have a decent paying job" I said to myself in the mirror.

Then walk out of the bar not aware of the coming bad luck after bumping someone..
