Today is a big day. Erwin sent me here to work for Mr. Ackerman. I only have seen him on google pictures.
He owns a company. The 5th biggest building here in New York.
He specializes on working for music videos and model fashion.
I used to work for Erwin back in California, but I do miss working there.
Erwin in fact was going to work here himself. Mr. Ackerman and Erwin have contact each other and talked about me.
Now it’s my turn to meet him face to face.
I look down to see Erwin send me a message.

Hey, ready to meet your new boss?

I am a little nervous! I heard things about him that I’m scare. 😩

Don’t worry. You’ll be fine. I talked about you. So he knows what to expects.

The other place are Georgia, Texas, and Washington. While the others stay in California.

Okay Erwin I have to go! Will you be accompanying me today?

Unfortunately no. This whole month I won’t be in New York. I’ll be visiting the other states. I do have to return to California.

I prepared myself, my hair, light makeup,perfume and finally I put on my suit uniform.
Along the way, I walked to the subway and hope in the train as I listen to music.

When are you going to arrive?
In my head I began to panic. Who is this?
I then focused back, to see my next stop.
When I arrive I stood outside the big building. I saw, “ACKERMAN CORP.” In big black bold letters.
I gulped and took steps in going to the front desk.

Excuse me ma’am. I have a meeting with Mr. Ackerman?
“What’s your name?” The young woman asked.
In respond I said my full name.
I reach in my purse and hand her it; she read it and gave it back to me. “You can sit right over there and I’ll get to you in a bit.”
I sat down and look around.
Wow, so clean, white, and cold!
I look through the big glass window, seeing the streets and other buildings across from this one.
“Y/n, He will be waiting for you in his office.”
I made my way inside the elevator and asked the lady which floor he was at and she replied. Again I thank her.
Okay, stay cool, don’t mess this up! Or else...well no job.
When the doors open I saw people working on this floor as I stayed still.
They seems busy just by how they walk to the other side of the building but most stay in their desk.

Hey, you’re lost? Looking for Mr. Ackerman?
I turn over to see a young boy and smile at him.
Y/N
Yes! I’m looking for Mr. Ackerman.
I follow as I had few stares. This young man took me to a hall, it was a lot quieter too...I can hear my own heart bumping!
I look to my right, to see the city from here.
I reach to the door and the boy knock.
And open the door sticking his head in
Soon I heard a voice form the other side, “Let her in.”
The young boy turn around and give me a smile.
He passed by me and walked back in that empty hall to go back to the offices.
I turn around and opened the door wider and there he was sitting on his desk. Writing down and checking on his computer.
Mr. Ackerman
Close the door and sit down.
He said without looking at me.
I close the door and felt how cold it was here!
I took my sit and across my legs and my arms on my lap.
Mr. Ackerman
Did you received my text message?

Oooh! Oh- it was you? I’m so sorry sir. I didn’t know you had my....
I stopped rambling as he turned his head to look at up at me.
Those deep grey eyes. That look he gave, intimidates me. His...handsome face. Also that smooth and gentle voice. This man can rock me to sleep.

Smith hand me your information, (full name).
He used his left index finger to tap on the desk.

He turned his chair around and walked over to some cabinets behind and took a file tossing it to his desk.
He sat down and open the file, scanning it through. Is that my file?

You come from California?
Mr. Ackerman
Ah, where all the celebrities are at.
He kept on talking without looking at me.

You work for....6 year for Smith?
Mr. Ackerman
Smith said you’re a hard worker.
He leans back on his chair as it made a sound. Next he cross his legs and brought the files closer to him.

Mr. Ackerman, I’ll be right back in a few minutes. Going to print this out and make a few copies.
I watch her leave the room but she did glance over me. Also where did she came from?
Mr. Ackerman
She’s my assistant.

...you finish your work on time.
Ackerman finished my sentence again, I couldn’t finish because his assistant interrupted me.

Levi frowned and tossed the file away on his desk.

His eyes scanned me as he cover his mouth with his fingers as his thumb was located under his chin. As his elbow was on the arm chair.
He removed his fingers from his mouth and instead his hand move to his jaw. His two fingers against his cheeks as his thumb still stay under his chin.

I’ll give you a week here. I won’t be paying you.

I follow him and Immediately I smell his strong cologne hitting my face. That only made him more attractive...he is definitely looks better in person.
Ackerman open the door letting me go in first then follow him in the empty hall.

When we reach to the small offices I watch Ackerman taking a white glove.
I watch how he put it on his right hand then place his index finger on the first desk and swipe. Lifting his hand to see his index finger clean.
And so on with the next one and next until, he stop at a desk.

Why is this desk dusty?
