Chapter 4. You're going in ??

Dret's Pov.

I was enjoying our walk when she suddenly pulled me to a place which was not suitable for her. I was hesistating on going in but her grip is so strong !.. What a strong woman.

" WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! " " YOU WANNA GO IN THERE ? !! " I pointed at the place .. " Guess what ? NO " .. I said ..

I was a bit strict this time, I know but what girl in her right mind would go to a fighting arena ??!! I'm being strict for a reason, you know.

She gave me the puppy eyes that softened my heart. Dang it ! I had weak spots in puppy eyes since I was young ! Her hazel eyes sparkled with her eyebrows going up and her mouth pouting. She is so cute... like a lost, cute puppy .. Dang, I almost flushed .. I just sighed in defeat, not to hear or see anymore cute puppy eyes staring right at me while making a cute sound so I just gave up.

She jumped in happiness as I watched her, smiling. I almost laughed, again. In my whole life, I don't think I even laughed.. except that day.. I don't want to talk about it. She dragged me again inside and we saw a stage with two people fighting while the crowds cheering in those weird talk of zombies. It was just .. unplesant .. There's this odor that makes me even wanna puke. Smoke which I don't came from and Zombies with green skin and others are even showing their bones for being so skinny, almost like a skeleton. Uggh !!.. I know I sound like a girl but who cares, I'm a clean person. I didn't touch other women except my mom, sister and that girl.. plus Eve. I saw Eve running to the referee and talking to him. I couldn't hear what they were talking but I knew it was some kind of an order because I saw the referee's head nodding as I saw his mouth saying 'yes, I will do it'..

Eve came to me , smiling. Cute. I forgot everything when she put her arms crossed with mine. There I was , frozen in place.

" Enjoy the show ".. She said, not too loud but enough for me to hear.

I just rolled my eyes as we walked closer to the stage. I heard the referee whistling and based on what my father told me, this is the time where another fight will start. He said that the fighters should be ready in 5 minutes. I just waited and when it was up, I got my hopes up for a good fight. The other fighter was revealed. He was a buff guy with 1, 2, 3... 8 packs !. Dang, wish I had those. I mean, I have a six pack right in my stomach but I'm not as buff as him.. I'm also not that strong. I pouted and looked at the floor while they revealed the second fighter. I knew it was gonna be a guy with another 8 packs .. I'm hopeless.. but I heard the other zombies talking..

' a girl ?? ' ' is she a fighter ? '

' would it be alright for her ? '

I was like,, huh?? What do you guys mean? A girl wouldn't enter a fighting stage .. Suddenly I thought for a second and looked around me..

SHE WAS GONE !!.. I looked at the stage and saw her wearing this white band wrapped around her hand and arm .. Is she fighting ?? What if she get hurt? I wouldn't let that happen. We made an eye contact and I cleared my eyes that I was angry at her for stepping into a dangerous position. She just... Sticked out her tongue ??!! That Dumb bitc*.. She shot a dead glare at his opponent and smirked. I know that smirk. That evil Smirk !. She used it once on me and it made me in great trouble. Oh god, I hope she knows what she's doing. I prayed in my inner brain not to let her get hurt. The bell rung as it is time to start the fight. I saw them circling at the center, waiting for their first blow.. The opponent striked his punch but surprisingly, Eve avoided it. Then Eve striked a hard triple kick so fast that it hitted his opponent's face. I wowed in surprised .. This girl can fight. She did a continuous punch at different directions in such short time. She's good. The opponent made his way through her punches but barely avoided it and threw a weak kick to Eve. Ahh, his weakness. He just revealed his weakness to everyone... Now, Eve should be able to take advantage of this... I let out a sigh of relief when I saw Eve headlocked his opponent and kicked him several times in his face and he finally gave up and was thrown to the ground, collapsed, blood running down his nose. I saw Eve, smirking again. Just, what does this girl do ?? We made eye contact and made a side smirk at each other . She came down and is unwrapping the white band while I got to the table full of bottle of water and took 2 bottles for her. I threw the bottle at her direction and she catched it with her I hand.. You kidding ?? One hand..? .. Gosh, this girl is different.. She chuckled as she told me what happened..

" You're amazed, right ? " she asked..

" You should've used that on me everytime we fought, why didn't you ? " . I questioned

she sighed " I don't want to transfer, again.. " she answered..

What ?? Again ??..

" It's getting dark, we should go " .. She dragged me out again. We ran to the exit and met another 2 zombies.. They bowed to us and requested for the bracelet. We took it off, gave it to them and ran off. It rained.. We were running in the rain. We couldn't find any stores that would sell umbrellas because it was nighttime so we just ran to the waiting shed. I tried to call my friend, Kyle to pick us up with his bike-- tricycle.. with a roof . That would've been better than Biking in the rain but she ended my call. Eve dragged me to her bike and pushed one button that made that bike a tricycle with a roof..

" WOOAH !! " I was in awe..

She smiled as she pushed me to the passenger's seat and she drived.. We arrived at her place and dried off our clothes.. I was shirtless , sitting at the living room watching TV.. She came out after a shower and sitted by my side. She's drying her hair with a towel and I am here thinking , Why did I come to her house, at night. I might seem like a pervert but no.. I can't go home wet.. My dad would definitely punish me..

" Hey, wanna stay for the night ?? " she asked.. Godd.. Please don't let this turn me on...

" Why would I ? " I asked.. Goddamn.

She smiled as she came to me. She kissed me, at the lips. Her lips felt so smooth, soft and sweet.

" Because I like you " She said.. Okay, so this is happening.. I give up .. This is happening. I kissed her back and felt her lips smooching to mine. I pushed her to the couch and started to kiss her more and more. She kissed me back and now we were totally making out until a sound stopped us when the dryer ringed and that unknown mutherfoking sound from the next room. We completely realized what had happened and avoided each other. She cleared her throat and went to the bathroom to stop the dryer's noise while I just sat there, so awkwardly.. I followed her for my clothes we are here looking like strangers. No one dared to talk for the rest of the night.

We went to our bedrooms and after some time of forgetting what had happened earlier and trying to sleep, I heard some sounds.

" Now the day bleeds ~~

Into nightfall~~

And you're not here~~

What a beautiful voice !! A wonderous goddess that made fall asleep in less than 5 minutes..

At about midnight, I got up of their bed. At guest room, probably. I didn't know what to call it but it was my bedroom once and it was where I was allowed to sleep. Anyways, I got up and knocked at Eve's door which was beside mine. I knocked and knocked and after several times of knocking, the door finally opened.

" What do you *insert a long yawnnn* want ? " .. she asked.

" Uhh, I need to go home now. My father is waiting for me " ..

" *another looong yawn* yeah, sure.. " she said before she went back to her bed and basically threw herself in her bed.

" See you next time, Eve " .. i murmured and left her house, trying not to make anymore sound that could wake her up.

I got onto my bicycle , left a side smirk and went to our house which was like 2 blocks away from Eve's.

Home..

I go home and saw my father waiting for me lying at the sofa while the TV is on.

" Dad ! why are you still awake ?? " I asked.

" You're late ".. he anwered in like those boss voices. My dad was never like that. Well, except...

" Yes , I'm late Dear Father. I had a great time spending the day with a girl. " I answered back in the most soldierous voice. Even I don't know what that is but dad called it as soldierous voice.

I smiled at my dad and spread my arms. Not long after, a smile broke out from his mouth and hugged me. I love my dad.

" BROO !! " someone yelled and hugged me.

" IAN !! " I hugged him back. Ian is my dearest younger brother . I love him more than he loves me.

" Broo, why did you come late ?? Did someome bully you again ?? huuwwaa " He said , half crying.

" Noo.. You're wrong this time, baby boy " I said, smirked and went to my bedroom.

I dressed to my nightgown and yes, I still wear that. It's comfortable. I tucked my brother in bed and sang him a goodnight song ..

after some time...

" B-ro , why did mom die ? " .. Ian asked..

ohh, shit. Can't tell him yet.

uhh.. Think, you idiot !!!

" Mom wanted to go to heaven to see Jesus. Mom didn't die. She just went to Jesus's world. Now go to sleep. " I said , still humming the song that Ian always wants me to sing when he goes to sleep.

He nodded at my answer and went to sleep. I turned his lamp off and went to the living room ..

" Dad ?? " I said.

" Yes ?? " he answered back.

I sat beside him and started holding his hand.

" Can I take part-time jobs so-- ? " I slowly. slowly asked.

" So you could help me with our expenses ?? nop.. Dret , we're living fine. I'm working at the company. You don't nee-- " he answered fast.

I stopped his talking .. " No dad. I wanted to save money for my future .. Can I do that ?? " I said.

" Promise me it's not about our living expenses or else. " he clearly stated.

" I promise. " I answered quick before he change his decision.

" Oh dad, another thing... I kinda broke rule number 1.. hehe "

I ran to my room after I said those words.. It was only a matter of time before dad hurt me with his slippers.

Quick . Dret's father's PoV..

What ? He broke rule number 1 ?? That kid. I was kinda angry bout this . This kid just cried in front of a woman ?? .. That was one sacred rule that we treasure .. It was because... If a guy from our family cries in front of a woman except his relatives, that woman would be our family's next relative.. as a wife. I support him but I still don't know this woman. I can't marry them off if that woman is just a gold digger or a mean one. !! This is trouble. I need some help..

Rrring Rrring Rrring...

" Eyy, hello bestfriend. " Some voice from the phone..

" Eyy, bestfriend. I need your help " I answered.

" What happened, bro ?? " he answers. He sounded worried.

" Guess who broke rule no. 1 ? "

" No way !! Dret ?? " he gasps. I expected that.

" Yup. Stalk him 24/7 and find out everything about that girl.. " I said.

" Sure thing, Chris " .. and he hangs up..
