TAEKOOK

It was a usual day for the members of the world-famous boyband. With every hit albums they drop, not only do they soar higher in fame, they also start to become more and more busy with interviews, live schedules, practise sessions and many more group-related activities. Like now, they were all gathered up at the dance room, practicing the choreo a month prior for their upcoming comeback. They are yet to shoot the music video and the pressure is high already. . .

They had been practicing without a break from morning, and by now the mirrors of the dance room had fogged up– all thanks to the scorching summer heat and their power-packed dance routine..

In one corner of the room Jhope can be seen practicing alone, his fluid body matching every beat till perfection.. Jin stood near him, following his steps keenly to look for any sort of mistake he'd overlooked earlier..

Keeping all members aside, the day, however, was disappointing for Taehyung.. He had his eyes fixated on himself as he redid his steps time and again, humming the lyrics lowly to correspond his movements with the rhythm of the song..

But no matter how hard he tried. No matter how slowly he repeated his steps, it just wasn't working out..

The three main dancers: Jhope, Jimin and Jungkook had already mastered their part.. Seokjin didn't really have a sequence in the dance break so he was done with his respective parts of the chorus too.. Furthermore, Joon and Yoongi had their verses lined up alongside and they weren't the centre as well, so no biggie– but Taehyung..

It seemed like Taehyung was the only one struggling.. and this—𝒇𝒓𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒎.

It frustrated him because not only was he the only one messing up, he also had to take the centre of the formation.. And if somehow he continued making mistakes here and there, the whole beauty of the dance break would be gone.. The pressure was immense for him, and he was really pushing himself to get it right one way or the other..

After sometime, their manager entered the danceroom and informed the rap line to go and meet the producer to listen to the finalised version of the song.. Yes, till now they were practising to the demo version of the same–like always.. Jin was the person who left the room next..

Seokjin

Hey, I'm going to make something for us, do you want anything in particular?

Jimin

Aniyo, 'm good.. (smiles)

Seokjin

Taehyung-ah, Jungkook-ah, do you want anything?—or I'll just make the usual..

Taehyung

Make what you feel like, hyung— I'll eat anything..

Taehyung spoke breathlessly while holding onto his knees, he had messed up once again and now stopped to breathe and rest for a few seconds. Jin turned to Jimin and spoke..

Seokjin

Jeongguk-ah, eodisseo? (where are you?)

Jimin

Oh— he must have gone to get a few waterbottles, you might walk past him in the corridor, hyung– you can ask him on your way..

Seokjin

Right, okay then boys— I'll give y'all a call once the food is ready, and I hate waiting– remember that..

Seokjin

Come within 5 minutes after the call..

The eldest informed before walking out of the door. Jimin squatted down and scrolled through his social media and at times glanced at his soulmate who did the hook of the dance for the n-th time now, to no avail. Jimin could make out that Taehyung was sick of it, considering the sour expression written all over his face..

Jimin

Taehyung-ah, rest for a while. You'll cramp up if you go on like this. It has been 'hours!'

Taehyung

Nah, I'm fine. I guess I will be able to do it in a few more trials..

Taehyung

I still have the previous choreo set up in my muscle memory, so this one's taking time.. (pants)

Jimin

Well then, come on.. You know where you're messing up, and.. relax now, you'll soon get the hang of it— there's no hurry!

The elder ensured the dancing male which came to nothing, as Taehyung yet again began to dance his way through the music.. Jimin sighed in defeat, Tae can be stubborn sometimes and he doesn't blame him for it..

In the meantime, the door opened and the youngest stepped in, his both hands occupied with three medium-sized bottles.. Kook flinged one towards Jimin who caught it effortlessly, and himself snapped open one, taking a long gulp from it the next second.. He did gulp down the water, but what made him gulp once again was the sweaty male who danced at a few feet's distance from Kook: Kim Taehyung— his gay awakening..

Jungkook

Taehyung flonked down on the floor with a thud and while panting stared at his reflection.. His grey sweatshirt had turned into a deeper shade because of how awfully he was sweating and now it was sticking to his body like a second skin— oh, how desperately he wanted to get this done and get rid of these..

Jimin

Tae— Tae, you're pushing yourself too much. c'mon, let's go back to the dorms– practice again later on..

Jimin trued persuading his visibly tired soulmate but Tae just gave him an irritated nod and growled lowly before standing back on his feet.. He walked a few steps closer to them and took the remaining bottle of water, chugging it down in an instant as some of it spilled on the floor and even seeped down his neck from the corners of his mouth..

Jungkook

Hyung— stop being so stubborn, nobody's forcing you to get it right immediately, we still have time, just take a break.. 'm sure you will do it tomorrow, 'kay?

Taehyung

No, I want to get it done today— I don't want us to lag because of me, so let me be..

Taehyung

You guys should get going slowly. Afterall, you're tired as well and need rest too— I'll probably be there in half an hour, or when hyung calls, so don't worry about me..

Jungkook

Hyung.. we get it. But for now, just listen to us— we can see how tired you are..

Taehyung

I'm okay Jeongguk-ah.. You two go, I'll come in a while, promise.

Jimin

Then I'll wait for you till you finish, I don't have anything to do now either— you continue your practice..

Jungkook

Yess, I'm not leaving you alone either..

Taehyung

Ugh, now who's stubborn! You guys are impossible!— just goooo.. I can take care of myself.

Taehyung didn't waste a minute before plunging into a friendly squabble with the other two, in an attempt to kick them out of the dance room.. They giggled and tried to stay but because of the fatigue Jimin ultimately gave up and was pushed out, Tae however couldn't push out the maknae, he indeed was a muscle pig and Tae didn't want to tire himself out more than he already was.. so Jungkook stayed..

Taehyung shot him a few exasperated glances but the younger just shrugged, determined to accompany his hyung till he was done with the struggling choreo..

Jungkook

Just do your practice, hyung.. I won't bother you..

Taehyung

ugh, fine!

No matter how frustrated he was with the particular choreo, he was somehow thankful to the presence of the younger around him.. He always admired Jungkook for being a quick-learner, and had a forbidden attraction towards him as well, which he hides smoothly with his easy-going attitude. But now, with Kook beside him in such a situation, Tae wants to impress him— by at least nailing this hard af step sequence..

So, here he goes again, swinging his limbs back and forth to release the built up tension before positioning himself to dance.. Kook settled down on the floor, watching his hyung dance the 'catchy' part of ON..

Jungkook observed, how his exposed muscles flexed everytime he moved; How his wet bangs bounced; How his expressions intensified as the beat progressed; How the ridges of his wet sweatshirt brought out his manly figure— Jungkook noticed every fcking detail of the ethereal looking man who looked like a hot-served meal at this moment..

The younger was snapped out of his fantasies when he heard Tae groan and flop back down on the wooden floor, his sneakers making a high-pitched squeaky sound.. His well built chest heaved back and forth and Jungkook couldn't help but picture him shirtless, "no– enough fantasising Jungkook" He warned himself and approached Tae, dabbing his wet bangs with a spare towel..

Taehyung

What the hell is wrong with me, I have the whole thing in my mind but I always step at the odd beats— (sighs)

Jungkook

Let me show you hyung..

Jungkook said as he showed him the step in slow motion while the older observed him attentively..but most of his attention went into observing the younger's figure which was visible through the shirt which he was wearing as it stuck to his skin..

Taehyung

I think..I got where I was doing the mistake..

Taehyung said as he started doing the step again..his legs were weak because of the continuous practice..but he's determined..Jungkook stood behind him and observed him through the mirror..

Taehyung finally got the step right! As a delightful smile flashed on his face with a satisfied expression.. Taehyung jumped a little at his victory..as the younger smiled back at him and came towards him..however..his foot slipped and down he fell..along with Tae on the floor..

Taehyung

Ouch! Kook! You're heavy..!

Yes..Jungkook was on top of him..they ended up in quite an awkward position..Jungkook's head was on the right of Tae's face..while both of them groaned after they fell..

Jungkook

Oh..Sorry hyung..I slipped..

Jungkook said as he tried to get up..one of his legs was between Tae's thighs..so as he moved his knee brushed against his crotch.. Taehyung clawed at Jungkook's shoulder because of the friction he was getting..

Taehyung

Kook!..don't move..

Taehyung said as he looked away at the other side..a light tint of pink visible on his face..as he bit his lips with a shy smile..

Jungkook

Wait..why hyung?

The younger asked innocently till he felt something hard down south.. Jungkook kind of got an idea of what it was..he had been crushing on Taehyung for quite a long period now..but seeing him giving everyone the same kind of attention...he felt he didn't stand a chance..only he knew how much he wanted Tae to praise him..pet him..LOVE him..

Jungkook

Hyung..you're..

Taehyung

It's okay..I'll deal with it myself.. and yeah..thanks for helping me with the step..

Taehyung

You go..I'll come in a while..

Tae said all that by himself...he also liked kook..the younger was too precious for him..and at a point of time..he also asked himself if it was all just brotherly love?! or more than that..

Jungkook

Hyung...

The younger paused as he lifted himself up a bit and looked at the older with a bit grieved face..

Jungkook

I helped you with the step..

Jungkook

I might be able to help you with this as well..

The younger said as he looked away followed by a surprised expression from Tae..he didn't expect that coming!

Taehyung

What are you trying to get at kook?

Taehyung asked him again..wanting to make sure if he heard right..

Jungkook exhaled..as he firmly held Tae's shoulders..and looked at him with a sincere face..

Jungkook

Hyung..I like you..you are more than just a brother to me..

Taehyung smiled softly at the younger as he raised his hand and caressed his cheek..and pulled him down again..engulfing him into passionate kiss..
